1. Rollende Keukens: 13 - 17 May

The food festival season kicks off with Rollende Keukens in Westerpark. From 13 to 17 May, you’ll find around 80 food trucks and stalls serving dishes from all corners of the world, live music and a lively festival atmosphere. As well as a wide range of international dishes, you can also enjoy a variety of drinks, such as speciality beers from local breweries, homemade sangria and non-alcoholic options. Around 100 musical acts will be performing during the festival, making Rollende Keukens the largest open-air stage in Amsterdam. This year marks the 18th edition of the festival.

2. Lepeltje Lepeltje: 22 - 25 May

During the Whitsun weekend, the third edition of Lepeltje Lepeltje will take place at the NDSM wharf. This cosy festival is suitable for all ages and offers plenty of entertainment alongside tasty food and refreshing drinks. Visitors can enjoy live performances, DJs and a lively festival atmosphere throughout the weekend. There’s also a swap market where children’s clothes, toys and other items can be exchanged. For children, there are plenty of fun activities, including a merry-go-round, a maze and an arcade.

3. Art of Taste Food Festival – Asian Edition: 23 - 25 May

The Art of Taste Food Festival – Asian Edition is taking place once again this year on Museumplein. During this festival, you can discover the flavours of various Asian countries, such as Japan, Korea, China, Vietnam and India. As well as delicious food, there is also plenty of focus on culture. You can enjoy live music, dance performances, workshops, art and various activities for young and old. Food, culture and art take centre stage at the Art of Taste festivals, making the festival much more than just a culinary event.

4. Festival TREK: 3 -5 July

Festival TREK, the Netherlands’ largest travelling food festival, takes place in Amsterdam from 3 to 5 July. During these days, the Amstelpark transforms into an atmospheric open-air restaurant filled with food trucks, live music and theatre. This year, the popular festival celebrates its twelfth edition and is a great destination for young and old alike. Take a seat at the long tables and sample dishes from various cuisines, whilst enjoying a relaxed festival atmosphere. There’s also plenty of choice when it comes to drinks: cocktails, craft beers, fine wines, sangria and sparkling wine. As well as bites and drinks, Festival TREK also offers live performances, theatre acts, cabaret and fairground attractions. In the evening, the music gets louder and the festival site transforms into a lively place to dance. In short: a festival where there’s never a dull moment and plenty to enjoy throughout the day.
