This year the Amsterdam Music Festival takes place on October 19th, 2019 at the Johan Cruijff ArenA. It is the biggest party held during Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) in mid-October. Amsterdam Music Festival over the years
The first edition of the Amsterdam Music Festival was held in RAI Amsterdam in 2013 and was organized by ALDA Events and ID&T to celebrate the 25th anniversary of dance music in the Netherlands. This first edition attracted 25,000 people and the second edition 35,000. And last year there was a daily Amsterdam Music Festival at various locations in Amsterdam attracting three times as many people. In 2016 the Amsterdam Music Festival organizers decided to expand the event to eight events on five evenings in three different venues: Amsterdam ArenA, Heineken Music Hall, and Ziggo Dome. With an opening night, a closing night and two ArenA shows, the fourth edition of the AMF was the biggest festival during the Amsterdam Dance Event.
Amsterdam Music Festival Line-up
This year, in 2017, a new show element called 'Two Is One' was introduced at the Amsterdam Music Festival Line-up. For one night, two world-class DJs come together in one unique act. This year includes Timmy Trumpet and Dutch duo W&W. But of course, they are not the only top DJs to make this night unforgettable. Here’s the Amsterdam Music Festival Line-up:
