Attracting a whopping 1.2 million visitors a year, the Berlin TV Tower is one of Berlin's most visited landmarks and a prominent symbol of the city not only in Germany but also across the world. With its futuristic design, the tallest tower of the city clearly stands out across Berlin’s skyline.
Next to the observation deck at a height of 203 meters, it also houses the revolving restaurant Sphere. Keep an eye out for spectacular views of famous Berlin landmarks such as the Reichstag, Museum Island, Potsdamer Platz and the Brandenburg Gate.
Lovingly known by the locals as the “toothpick”, it really is a unique attraction that should definitely be on your Berlin sightseeing itinerary.
The over 200 meter high tower guarantees unparalleled views of Berlin. High up in the Sphere restaurant, you can elevate your TV tower visit with delicious, freshly prepared dishes and local specialties of the (literally) highest quality.
Experience unforgettable moments with friends and family with one of these combined tickets. If you’re already visiting the TV tower might as well do it with style right?
Ticket in hand, just bypass the queues in front of the Berlin Tower and enjoy a window seat at the Sphere revolving restaurant. If you also want to include food and drinks combine it with a delicious breakfast or an incredible 3 course meal. A wine and dine experience at the Sphere definitely beats any rooftop terrace bar.
If you are tired from a morning full of sightseeing and walks through the city you can also opt for a relaxed afternoon tea with a snack in the rotating restaurant. In one hour the tower rotates a full 360°, so all the while you are eating you can see the city come alive beneath you. When you’re done eating, just head down to the observation deck to complete your tower experience.
Whether you just want to admire the panoramic view of stunning Berlin or combine it with a delicious dining option, the Berlin TV Tower is definitely a must see. Once you have your ticket, just stroll in and ascend to the top of Berlin’s most famous building. So don’t wait and secure your ticket now and avoid the infamous lines of people in front of the tower! Make your Berlin TV Tower experience even more special with a meal and drinks at the spinning restaurant.

OMG it’s high. LOL 😂😂 Outstanding 360° views 670 feet up over the city. Needed the bier at the top to steady my nerves. Hahahahahaha Virtual reality attraction was very clever indeed.

Iconic evening. Such a great experience - good food, good service and amazing views - teenagers loved it (as did we). Decor defiantly and beautifully retro. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent views of Berlin. A very well organised tour. The lift is superb exceptionally fast. The display boards indicating monuments and areas in the city is very helpful.

Can't miss seeing it when in the city center, park/fountain near by, Hop On Hop Off bus tours leave from this area, lots of restaurants and shops very close

Eventhough prizy it is worth to see the city from the sky. Just avoid the restaurant on the sucond floor. Separate reviews for the Sphere restaurant.

We booked for the Restaurant sphere, thinking to enjoy food and the view, but we were underwhelmed by the food: tasteless and unattractive, while the place smelt of school dinners cooked elsewhere and reheated. I know you can't expect first class food at the top of such a tower, but this was unimaginative and something of a rip off.

Visiting the Berlin TV Tower is one of our Berlin travel highlights. Contrary to some of the reviews I have read here, I found the tv tower fun and enjoyable. We bought tickets that has entry to the restaurant. The food was amazing, we ordered the fish and lamb fish. Perfectly done and so tasty. All the desserts were heavenly. We ordered the desserts offered on the meny, the panna cotta and chocolate cake. After we finished, we ordered 2 more cakes, the black forest and cheesecake. Yummy!

The Berliner Fernsehturm offers a unique panorama and an unforgettable view of the entire city from over 200 meters above ground. Whether you’re a local or a tourist, visiting the TV Tower is a must-do experience.

Quite a lot of money but it does what it says! Saw some of the reviews were quite negative but it is what it is and for that it was ok! Lift works well and takes you to great views with plenty of information about the different parts of the city. Make sure you check for private events and closing times as website didn’t meet reality for us! Worth a visit if you’re on the all inclusive Berlin welcome card or like these things! I preferred the view from the Berlin cathedral (Berliner dom) and the Reichstag and both better if you have limited time!

It was all about the view and the added information with pictures in front of the windows was a bonus! These would, however, be difficult to read, if it was busy!

We thoroughly enjoyed it! Loved the 'retro' vibe of it all! But do feel its a little expensive. (But it was something we wanted to visit) .We paid at the ticket machine when we arrived which proved to be a bit of a problem as the machine didn't print the tickets - luckily it never took payment, and printed them on our second attempt. We also discovered, after our visit, that if you booked on line there was on offer that if you went before 10am the ticket price was €5 cheaper! We went at 1030 on a Tuesday and there weren't many people which made the experience better. We fell lucky as it was a clear day and the views are amazing. I recommend taking a bottle of water as it does get very warm and 'stuffy', take your own as the vending machine at the top is also expensive! Food isn't allowed. There is a gift shop too - also expensive! To sum it up - a great over priced experience!

The TV Tower dominates the Berlin skyline being visible for miles around and as such gives the best views of the city. Yes, it is expensive but it's kind of worth it as it gives such a good introduction to the city and is right there in the middle of everything. Its free of course with a Berlin card - a good reason to get one. The queues are lengthy at times though so it's best to go either early or maybe towards the end of the afternoon. I'm an early riser so getting there early was no problem for me. The exhibition on the history of the tower is worth a look as well to give you a perspective on how and why it was built.

This is a must do in Berlin! We had a 3 course meal in the restaurant which was amazing and the restaurant did a 360 spin, providing the perfect view of the city. It was amazing!

We booked tickets online in advance and printed out our tickets at home and brought them with us but you can also buy tickets at the entrance or online and download them to your phone....we booked a time slot and arrived 15 minutes early...a few people in a queue but we got in very quickly. We did the virtual reality experience first...there were 2 options for the VR headset....either a film about the history of Berlin or one about the building of the Tower. Each person can choose individually which to watch....we opted for the history film which was great. Then we queued again to ascend in the lift..again the queue moved quickly and staff were great and cheerful chatting to people in the queue. The lift takes 40seconds and has a glass roof which is cool...on the observation deck you can take as long as you need to go around in a circle and see the layout of Berlin city....it really gives an idea of where everything is so is a great first introduction to the city....there is a bar on the observation deck if you fancy a coffee or drink. Back down on ground floor there are toilets, cloakroom, and a gift shop with helpful staff there too. We were travelling with out teenage son and he really enjoyed the experience and would recommend it for other young people. Very well organised and we really enjoyed our experience!

A lovely visit up the TV Tower. The views were excellent and the guides helped to show what you could see. It was also helpful having a bar area for a drink whilst up there. The only negative was the heat, they needed to turn it down as it got very warm. Overall it is well worth visiting.
TheNatster75
We visited yesterday and were not disappointed. I didn't realise this attraction was linked to the 360 in Chicago which we did a few years ago. The lift ride up is quite quick and the roof lights up so you can see when you have reached the top. The views are amazing once you are up there, we were lucky because we had picked a really nice sunny and clear day so we could see for miles. The information at each window is really good to, tells you what you are looking at and gives a little history lesson. This is one of the best towers we have visited and it's not too expensive to do either. We paid around €50.

The beauty of the center lies precisely here, you can shop wherever you want, but the roads were built here, a true icon of the city!

I visited on a Sunday morning at opening time at 10am. 360 Views from the top are terrific and well worth it and are provided with images below pointing out key landmarks and supporting info. Thankfully it wasn't too busy at opening time but was a lot busier by the time I headed down at 11am. I felt there were too many people there then and had to queue at each viewing place to look out. Also, there was no staff keeping people moving along - For instance one person was stood in front of the window looking down Unter Den Linden for over 15 minutes scrolling through their Instagram and one family looked like they were setting up a picnic with their coats over the supporting images! The History of Berlin VR was excellent and I would recommend.

We went there in February 2023 It was a cool experience. But first you should stay in line and wait a little bit. Then smell in elevator might be unpleasant. But when you get to the top the view is great. You can walk around and see 360*

Whilst wandering around the city, the tower is visible from so many points, and is always makes for a fine view... Especially up close.

Love Berlin, a great City with lots to do and see. Transport great, plenty of places to eat for all prices.

It was a quiet Monday morning when we visited so we bought tickets and got straight on the elevator with no queuing at all. The views from the top were great and there was information about what you could see in each direction. There was also no queue to get back down. There was a gift shop and toilets available near the entrance.

We booked a window seat in advance at the restaurant which gave us the great views in the spinning restaurant (full cycle in 30 minutes). We had a decent meal to go along with 90 minutes or so of great evening views across Berlin. Well worth going to and i would book the restaurant again. We were able to go to the viewing platform on the floor below as part of the experience, but busier times this may not be allowed.

We booked this in advance for our first day in the morning (09:00). It was a little bit crowded after 9:30, but we were able to enjoy the view over Berlin.

The TV Tower was an iconic symbol of the German Democratic Republic the last time I was in Germany, now it’s an easily accessible tourist attraction. It’s an excellent viewing platform to go round and view points of interest and learn more about the history of Berlin. The photographs of the view could be updated as some are seriously out of date. The restaurant is an excellent visit with a wide selection of local specialties, it’s highly recommended and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
williamhY7343VY
Very touristy, but a really cool experience. Views of the city are great and you can see the divide of East vs. West pretty clearly from above (architecturally). Gift shop also had some cool souvenirs to take back.

I don't understand why this is not higher on the things to do. Outstanding view. Great food and service. We were a little late and they extended our stay no problems. Wonderful experience

Prebooked reservation for dinner. Book near window for best view. Entrance is timed and must go up two flights of stairs to visitor level then another to restaurant. Sunset views of entire city as platform slowly moves. Food was decent. Live piano player during meal, can dress casual. Neat to see contrast of West to East.
OksanaZam_Ukraine
We came at 10.00 and it was not so crowded. Later it was full of people. Actually it’s all about walking around the sphere, looking at the signed map with some descriptions of buildings. But many of them are located far, so you see a photo and a description but not a real building. While not those which are close and well seen are described, even those looking really old. One circle around the floor took about 30min. We also took a VR session - a video about 8min long. Could be more exciting but still is a good experience.
Hanbazlea22
Only 4 out of 5. Tickes are time slotted which sounds great. No queue to get in on slotted time. Lift all the way to the top. Fantastic views. Lots of information about the views at each window. Downside: do not understand the time slots due to there being too many people up there at once, very crowded and was not able to see every view. I thought having a time slot would control the amount of people up there. Wait time for the lift down was about 25 minutes due to the amount of people. Something to be improved on? Would recommend a visit as views that we did see were brilliant.
chrisdR872JP
Great views from the top of the tower. No queue so really quick access however it did feel like there were too many people at the viewing deck trying to read the information about the buildings in view There was no time limit to how long you could spend at the top which sort of solves the problem and causes it at the same time Quite pricey but definitely the best view in Berlin!
RBC099
Great views of the city, easy access and really thorough history and context of the buildings you can see from the tower. We weren’t quite expecting how different the architecture was East vs West but you could see it clearly from up the tower which was great. The VR experience was good, and we would recommend, however make sure you get the combined ticket as the VR is not worth the money on it’s own (also check the ticket as we asked for the combined but they gave us it separately so we had to pay more for each one).

Got off at Alexanderplatz S bahn station and as you walk outside I looked across and saw the TV Tower, Crossing the tram tracks and walked towards it. Alexanderplatz has plenty of places to eat and shop..Waited for my timed entry which I prebooked and went in, The lift is very fast and it takes only a few minutes to reach the top. The views are stunning and as you walk round the top there are picture placards telling you what you are looking at..You can stay as long as you wish as well.. After I came down to the main entrance I prebooked with my entrance ticket With a extra visual expierience, Absolutely brilliant, You wear these goggles and headphones in your own language it tells you the story of how Berlin grew from 1237 to the present day, Turn your head 90 degress and you can witness all of the figures in moving form, The realism is fantastic..Well worth the extra money.. The staff were great as well...

This is the tallest building in Berlin, I believe, and you can travel to the observation platform and get fantastic views of Berlin. I've been to a similar building in a few cities now, but the information boards in the Berlin TV Tower made it the best experience for me.

Consiglio andare all'ora del tramonto.
