About

See the best of the Netherlands

With this combination ticket you will be able to see some of the best sights in the Netherlands. From the UNESCO World Heritage listed canals of Amsterdam to the windmills and fishing villages in the countryside around the capital city, you will see it all in one day. Make sure to carefully plan your day, so that your two activities don’t overlap.

Watch the city sights during a 1-hour canal cruise

A canal cruise is the most popular way to see Amsterdam. As you sit back and relax on one of LOVERS Canal Cruises modern and comfortable boats, you can simply watch as the city passes by outside the window. Every tour of the Amsterdam canals is different but you are sure to visit the famous canals of Keizersgracht, Prinsengracht and Herengracht.

On board the boat, you will have excellent views no matter what the weather is like, as the sides and roof consists of windows that can open up. When you are on the boat you can also make use of free Wi-Fi and listen to the audio guide to learn more about the sights you cruise by. In truth, you haven’t really visited Amsterdam if you haven’t been on a canal cruise through the city.

Dutch history comes to life before your eyes

Just outside of Amsterdam much of the Netherlands’ famous history is still on display. The Windmill tour will take you to three villages just outside Amsterdam, that are rich in cultural history. At Zaanse Schans, you will visit an operational windmill and have some time to wander around the other windmills in the area.

The tour also includes a visit to Volendam, where you will visit the Cheese Factory for a cheese tasting. The third village on the tour is Marken, a former island, where you will see how clogs are still made with the help of an antique steam engine. A 30-minute, scenic ferry ride will help you travel between Volendam and Marken.
