Stockholm Archipelago Tour

The tour departs in front of the Royal Palace, on Gamla Stan. In the 19^th century the old fortress was demolished and the current fortress was built, however a test showed that it would not stand up to an attack and a new fortress was built at Oskar-Fredriksborg. Today Vaxholm Fortress is a museum.
