Ride to the top of the Avicii Arena
With SkyView you can ride to the top of the largest spherical building in Europe inside a glass gondola. At the top of the building you will have a 360-degree view over Stockholm, with the city centre to the north and the greater city all around you. The top of the building sits at 130 metres above sea level, making it of similar height to the London Eye.
The creation of SkyView was part of a significant transformation of the Avicii Arena. Which included reinforcement with 42 metric tonnes of steel and an extra 70 tonnes of rails placed on the exterior of the building. The glass gondolas were designed by a Swedish ski lift manufacturer, specifically for this great attraction in Stockholm.
Your visit to SkyView starts with a short video introduction, telling you more about the experience, its construction and the Avicii Arena. Afterwards, you step into one of two gondolas that ride up and down the west side of the globe. Each gondola can hold a maximum of 12 people so that all can enjoy the views over the city.

A Unique Thing to Do
Something unique to do! There was a informational and promotional video and then the ride itself took about half an hour. A little unnerving to go on a curve in an elevator, and of course there were great views!
Fantastic, memorable experience that I would highly recommend to anyone considering it.
Fantastic experience with amazing panoramic views make this one of the best activities which we did in the city. Given that the tickets only cost us around £13 each and it sits beside a huge shopping centre at the end of a short metro ride, it is well worth the visit.
Nice experience
Very nice and different (in a positive way) experience. Interesting to be in a glass elevator that is elevating over a sphere.
Quick trip, Nice view
Unusual elevator ride up the outside of a dome with some nice views. Short film before ride and a stop at the top. Nearby shopping centre with coffee shops. It's only a short train trip from the centre so we took it in for the views and experience.
Enjoyable experience
This is a good activity to do when in Stockholm. We got the metro here from Central Stockholm which took little more than 10 minutes. There was no queue to get tickets and before going up in the little pod we were able to sit in to watch a little video about the Avicci Arena. The main takeaway message we got from this was that the arena sells 150,000 hotdogs and 15,000 burgers a year. We then got in our little pod and relaxed as it slowly made its way up to the top. We marvelled at the view of Stockholm and waved at the people in the other pod. It was an enjoyable, memorable experience.
The largest spherical building in the world, and you can ride to the top!
I visited on a weekday afternoon in early January, so was probably as quiet a time as possible. Shared a bubble with a couple from Austria & no one else, so it was great to have a lot of space as most of the sights you’ll want to see are on one side of the globe (north). I thoroughly enjoyed my trip and appreciated the short film beforehand.

Another must see while in Stockholm! The ticket price is again very reasonable. The staff were all pleasant and friendly. The whole thing takes about 30 / 35 mins with the information video beforehand. The views are amazing and there’s maps inside the gondola showing what’s where when you get to the top! Definitely recommend
Bella esperienza
Attività davvero suggestiva. Si sale all’interno di una sfera trasparente e si sale a 130 metri lungo un edificio a globo. Consiglio di farlo alle 14.50 così vedrete anche uno splendido tramonto su Stoccolma.
Bollar på en kupol
Detta är ganska mycket vad du förväntar dig. Utsikten är också bra, men kanske inte fantastisk. Ni kommer ju faktiskt inte SÅ högt upp. Dock är Stockholm över lag en intressant stad att se från ovan. Filmen ni tvingas titta på innan är ganska trist och för lång, och de försöker av någon anledning sälja in sina byggprojekt till besökaren som framgångsrika, istället för att prata om vad ni faktiskt kommer att (vilja) se när ni kommer upp på toppen. Men nå väl...
A couper le souffle
Je suis ravie d avoir surmonté ma peur et d avoir partagé un moment pareil avec mon mari, lui a beaucoup apprécié la vue et a pris de très belles photos, moi j étais très concentrée sur ma respiration. Nous avons apprécié d avoir un petit moment avant l ascension pour nous expliquer l origine et l utilité de ce bâtiment
Kul
Är du i närheten och inte höjdrädd, så är detta ett måste. Att få komma upp på Globens yttertak och se hela Stockholm under sig är en kul upplevelse.
Kein Muss aber eine tolle Erfahrung
Ich war am Mittwoch Morgen um 10.30 Uhr da. Musste nicht anstehen und war mit einer Gruppe Asiaten (ca 6 Personen) in einer Gondel. Man konnte sich gut bewegen und hatte eine gute Aussicht. Aber mehr Personen hätten es nicht sein müssen. Wir hatten auch sehr Glück mit dem Wetter und hatten so eine weite Aussicht. Beim 5 Minütigen Film am Anfang, war der Untertitel auf Englisch leider nicht immer gut lesbar, da er teilweise doppelt war. Das Personal war sehr nett. Der Souvenirshop ist eher klein gehalten.
Väl värt
Åkte upp med några vänner, väl värt det med en härlig utsikt åt alla håll över Stockholm. Lagom fart upp o ner med en liten fakta film före
Ikke for dem med højdeskræk
En flot og anderledes tur. I en stor glaskugle, der kører op langs siden af Globen. Den holder en pause øverst oppe og kører så ned igen. Turen tager ca. 20 minutter
Värt att besöka
Vi njöt av åkturen och utsikten upp. Lite AC i gondolen hade inte gjort något en varm sommardag. Det som drar ned på betyget var reklamfilmen på 10 min man måste se innan.
Ver Estocolmo desde lo alto
Las vistas panorámicas son únicas que valen la pena experimentar, el mirador es de muy alta tecnología con una sensación única y podrás sentir a Estocolmo a tus pies, altamente recomendable
Hisnande färd på "kula"
Ett sånt "lagom" äventyr som inte kostar mycket men ger desto mer. Lätt att nå och enkelt att göra. Både färden längs Globens yta och utsikten är kanon=^)

Einmalige Fahrt mit der Gondel entlang der Kugel bis zum höchsten Punkt! mit toller Aussicht! konnten die Fahrt zu zweit geniesen in einer Kugel!
Leuke ervaring
Natuurlijk moet je in Stockholm het dak op van het ijshockey stadion. Deze bijzondere buitenlift geeft een mooi panoramabeeld van Stockholm.
Spettacolare
La vista offerta da questa attrazione è spettacolare. Questi ascensori si inerpicano con la giusta, lenta, andature, dando modo agli occupanti di abituarsi alla notevole altezza. Se la giornata è soleggiata e limpida lo sguardo può spingersi molto lontano. Peccato che la sosta sulla sommità duri poco.

Nous cherchions une activité qui sorte un peu des sentiers battus : en voici une parfaite pour qui n’a pas le vertige ! Une vue exceptionnelle de Stocklom à 360 degrés ! Par contre il ne faut vraiment pas être sujet au vertige ou ne pas aimer être enfermé car personnellement c’était un peu limite et j’ai été accroché au centre de la bulle les yeux fermés un moment . L’effet est surprenant quand même et à prendre en compte ! Après je suis contente d’avoir vaincu mes peurs pour admirer la vue .

La vista dall'alto di Stoccolma non è particolarmente interessante. Quello che sorprende è la struttura che è certamente unica.
Schön bei gutem Wetter
Wir waren im März in Stockholm, also außerhalb jeglicher Ferienzeiten und somit konnten wir zu viert eine Fahrt alleine machen. Wir mussten nicht anstehen, alle 20 Minuten ging eine Gondel. Die Gondel (es war nur eine Gondel in Betrieb) läuft an der Außenhülle auf Schienen bis zum Scheitel des Ericson Globe. Oben angekommen hat man einen Rundumblick über ganz Stockholm. Bei schönem Wetter einfach fantastisch. Ich kann mir gut auch einen Sonnenuntergang vorstellen. Es war sehr schön kurzweilig und wir würden diese Attraktion aufjedenfall weiterempfehlen!
Estocolmo a vista de pájaro
A nosotros nos gustó la experiencia, el edificio semiesférico ya es curioso y subir hasta lo alto con las cabinas, te da la oportunidad de ver Estocolmo a vista de pájaro y yo descubrí hace mucho tiempo que cuando viajo, si tengo oportunidad, me gusta subirme a sitios altos para ver las cosas desde arriba, creo que te da una visión global de la zona donde estás, me encanta! así que, si, vale la pena subir y ver la vista desde arriba. Además solo suben un número pequeño de personas en cada cabina, así que no te agobias y puedes moverte y disfrutar de la vista.

Under vores besøg i Stockholm valgte vi at tage T-banen til Globen. Disse to kugler bliver trukket op ad kuglen til man når toppe med en pragtfuld udsigt.

Con la Estocolmo Pass es gratis, y es una experiencia que no vas a poder tener en ningún otro sitio. Y un poco de respeto si que da cuando ves que te desaparece la calle por donde has entrado. Poca gente en cada cabina hace que no sientas agobio, y puedas moverte por la plataforma tranquilamente para hacer fotos
Leuke ervaring, Stockholm op grote hoogte
Ontzettend leuk om aan de buitenkant van een gigantische globe Stockholm te ontdekken. Voordat je in de lift stapt krijgt je film te zien over de globe en de omgeving, hierdoor weet je ook wat je ziet als je omhoog gaat. TIP: Veel liften zijn vol, boek dus van tevoren je ticket online!
Grootste bolvorm vd wereld met een machtig uitzicht
Buiten het centrum ligt een groot bolvormig stadion. De top hiervan is via de buitenkant met een soort glazen lift te bereiken. Het uitzicht is prachtig over de hele stad. Van te voren was nog een kort intro filmpje, maar dat had overgeslagen mogen worden, voegde niets toe.
Aparte ervaring
Even buiten het centrum, maar via metrostation Globen goed te bereiken. Met een van de twee bollen ga je aan de buitenkant van de Globen omhoog en op de top van de Globen sta je even stil om goed van het uitzicht te kunnen genieten.
Spectaculair uitzicht vanaf het grootste bolvormige gebouw ter wereld !
De SkyView brengt je naar de top van de Erickson Globe aan de rand van Stockholm. Een speciaal liftsysteem brengt je langzaam naar de top van de Globe, vanwaar je een prachtig zicht hebt over de ruime omgeving. Je hebt ruim de tijd om de omgeving te bekjken/fotograferen. Voor je naar boven gaat krijg je ook nog een korte film te zien waarin je meer verneemt over de verschillende evenementenhallen in dit gebied en de bouw van de Globe en de SkyView.
Sjov tur
Skyview bringer dig op ovenpå Globen i en gondol. Udsigten over Stockholm var fantastisk, men det, der gjorde turen til noget særligt, var hele konstruktionen af gondoler fastgjort udenpå Globen -det er noget af en oplevelse!
