THE TUBE + Copenhagen ZOO

So much better than expected! My parents and I (26) had so much fun, interesting and unique experience. Must see! Ps: might not be a good experience for people that get sensory overloaded frequently. Lots of lights and textures, with no clear way out in the middle of the experience.

Fun since the first moment. A wide variety of experiences, all so different from the previous, and that last for as long as you want to keep on having fun. Almost felt like starting over again right after finishing, nearly one hour went by and it didn't even feel like 20 minutes have passed. Quite friendly and welcoming staff too!

It was conveniently located inside the central station across from Tivoli. Very friendly staffs. It was a short but fun experience. I am not sure about the snakes hanging on a through way. Bathrooms are located in the middle of the experience, and they are clean and free of charge.

The tube was a great experience! I went with a friend who was visiting Copenhagen and we both love it.The personal was really friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it if you want to have fun 😊 …

The tube was verry fun

We loved the Tube! Great interactive exhibits at an inexpensive price. We took lots of pictures and videos. It is also very conveniently located and doesn’t take a lot of time to go through it all. Highly recommend!

City break

What a great few hours here..unfortunately not all enclosures had the animals in, but still plenty to see..very clean and well maintained, all animals had plenty of room In their enclosure and appeared to be happy..the separate part to the zoo across the road was an unusual aspect but worth a visit...

Good Views

We stopped in using the excellent value Copenhagen Card. It was very quiet on a chilly April weekday, which was nice. This zoo does the ‘big hitters’ well. Great views of tigers, lions, elephants, etc. We could see them all clearly. The star for us was the panda. It was a first for us despite the many other zoos we’ve been to. It’s worth stopping in, especially if you’ve got the card with entrance included.

Copenhagen Zoo

We have visited quite a few zoos and always tend to visit one when we travel. Have to say this was easily one of the best zoos we have been to. Surprisingly big given its central location. Nice and clean, seemed to be plenty of room for the animals, some of the themed areas were really impressive and there looked to be quite a lot of work going on to make it even better. It’s included on the CPH card which will get you in for no extra cost which is really good because it would otherwise definitely be worth the entry fee. Easy to get to from central Copenhagen. Would definitely recommend.

Best zoo I’ve been to

The best zoo I’ve been to. Easy access via the number 7A bus from the central areas that stops right outside. If you have the Copenhagen Card (which is well worth getting) you don’t need to use the main queue and can go straight to the turnstiles. You can see so many animals up close. Enclosures are a good size. We took about 2 hours to go round but with kids you can span it out a bit longer with play parks. And they have elephants and a polar bear! Never seen elephants in a zoo. They had a great space and a beautiful baby in tow. Lovely day out and well worth visiting.

Happy animals - happy visitors

Decided to pay the zoo a visit during a city break to Copenhagen. Had the Copenhagen Card and so was included in this. I can be a little hesitant when it comes to zoos as I need to get a feeling the animals are well cared for and have plenty of space. This zoo definitely gave me all of the right vibes and I would say well worth a visit. Was here as two adults but it would be a brilliant place to bring children - plenty to do and the way the enclosures are set out, plenty to see. There’re were some great photo opportunities for those who enjoy that aspect of a visit. You really felt ‘up close and personal’.

Worth a visit for the lions, tigers and pandas

Nice zoo to walk around was very clean and was not hit with the typical zoo smell we have encountered Before at other zoos around the world. Nice selection of animals but particularly the pandas, tigers and lions. It was nice to see the tigers and lions in an enclosure without the typical bars sounding them but were in safe open moat style areas which was fab as you felt you were so close to them but still safe. Would recommend a visit.

Amazing Zoo

An excellent day out, it's a fairly big zoo with loads of different animals to see, a play park for the kids and lots of places to eat and drink, would certainly return.

Me and my daughter walked to/from the Vestbro/meat packing district to the zoo which was an easy 30 minutes stroll. We spent the full day here ( about 6 hours) as plenty to do with places to eat and drink. We went at Xmas time so had nice glogg/ hot wine. You need the map to find your way round so you Don't miss anything. The today's activity board was only in Danish so we checked the zoos website to get it in English ( so we knew when animals were being fed etc). Some of the enclosures look small but the animals seem to have enrichment activities. The Elephants , Giraffes and Rhinos etc had large enclosures . The artic ring was bring renovated so we never saw the polar bear. We loved the panda and kangaroos ( 1st time I had seen a joey in a pouch) and the elephants and Giraffes. We spoke to some keepers who were knowledgeable and friendly and explained about the animals and how they keep them. The chimpanzee was particularly good because we watched him looking for the perfect tool/stick to reach his treats. Just like he would in the wild which . Well run zoo.

Copenhagen Zoo

Went mid week. It was super quiet which was great. Some enclosures a bit small but on the whole like any other Zoo and the animals seemed pretty happy. For those visiting Copenhagen wondering whether it’s worth a trip, it’s about 2 miles/45 min walk from the centre. If you’re in the city for limited time I wouldn’t bother but if you have half a day to kill it’s a nice walk with lots of little coffee shops and food places on the way. They have pandas so the wife was happy.

Great few hours

Very good. I don’t know why all negative criticism. I Have been to a good few zoos in my time and this was as good as most. So far as we could make judgement the animals all looked happy and healthy enough. Especially liked polar bears. We were there at feeding time and also saw one playing in the pool. ‘Cuddly’ brown bears! Cute. Shy panda sleeping. Elephant area good both for them and for viewing from lots of different places. Tapir - get quite close but don’t get too close as he sprays very often – there is a warning sign! We were there a good couple of hours and only did about half of it.

Zoo visit

I loved this place, have visited many european zoos and this rates highly. Must see are the Pandas and Polar Bears. Lots of other fabulous animals. Clean and tidy. Halloween crazy which added to the atmosphere.

Positive Aspects

Animal species are bountiful. Employees are friendly and helpful. Signposts are clear. The Wi-Fi connection is good.

Good Museum

This was a speedy visit as I arrived with only 75 minutes before closing time so I really had to do a speed run of the museum. Never the less, I thought it was a terrific zoo. Lots of variety regarding animals, and the polar bears were a huge surprise. Loved seeing them. The elephants were a highlight too. Terrific museum. Wish I had more time.

Such an amazing zoo!

Our lodging was close by the Copenhagen Train station at Vesterbrogade which was a convenient 40 minute walk from there. We could have taken public transportation but to locate the connections and wait for the bus, our walk worked and before we knew it, we had already arrived at the Copenhagen Zoo entrance! We purchased a Copenhagen Card which was very convenient as we did not have to line up to purchase our entry tickets. The Copenhagen Zoo is set up in such a wonderful organized manner and the animals are all in displays that offer the visitor a nice view. Upon entry, while passing the lions, we had to stop for the family of lions including the cubs posing for us. Initially we thought it was just statues as they were not moving but we realized they were actually real!! Such an unbelievable sight that I have never encountered in a zoo!! Copenhagen Zoo builds the animal habitats with such precision that the surroundings are easy for the visitor to view the animals. The Giant Pandas were on display- one visible from the Bistro Pan Pan and the other one was visible in the outside munching on bamboo. Such a show!! The baboons and lemurs were also fun to view as they were climbing, running back and forth in their indoor and outdoor enclosures. The gift shops were nice also as there were some unique items found. It was quite an enjoyable visit at the Copenhagen Zoo. We definitely recommend a stop here to enjoy front row sightings of many types of wildlife.

Amazing visit

OMG, what an amazing zoo, we try to visit a zoo everywhere we go. This zoo by far is the best one I've been to. Loved seeing the baby animals as well as the others. The polar bears were so beautiful, and the hippos just so huge . Then seeing the panda was the icing on the cake.

Great zoo

This zoo is unbelievably good, by far the best zoo we’ve visited. The range of animals is great, covering all the big animals you could hope to see. The Lions, , Hippo, and Polar Bears were our favourites. We really liked the fact that the animals seemed happy and had plenty of space. The method of viewing the animals is fantastic, you are not viewing them through bars and netting. The Savannah are gives you an unobstructed view of Zebra, Rhino and Giraffe in a large area together.

Jeg synes det er betagende at se på alle dyrene og det synes jeg man kan i Københavns zoo men jeg vil sige det aldrig bliver det samme at se dyr i fangeskab men ellers synes jeg det er en udemærket oplevelse med familien

En fantastik oplevelse

Det er altid meget hyggeligt at være det. Når man har børn med er de helt op og køre og har altid et god tid. Det virker også som om dyreplejerne holder godt øje med dyrenes helbred og har godt styr på det, de har også godt styr på det hele. Jeg har også zookort så jeg kommer meget tit der ind. Jeg har hørt at de er et af de bedste zoologisk have til dyr.

MAGNIFICO

“Magnifico” è un termine riduttivo per questo parco che è senza dubbio il migliore d'Europa. E’ evidente che nelle ristrutturazioni avvenute nel tempo e di recente(lo zoo è stato fondato nel 1859 da un ornitologo) si è puntato sul benessere animale e sullo scopo educativo, diretto non solo ai bambini ma a tutti, obiettivo che è stato pienamente raggiunto. Gli spazi, enormi, sono pensati e attrezzati in modo magistrale e nel massimo rispetto delle esigenze ambientali tipiche di ogni specie. Gli animali si spostano tra i ricoveri al chiuso e le aree all’aperto con libertà e naturalezza e il pubblico - cosa straordinaria - li può vedere da varie angolazioni e su vari livelli: balconate, sottopassaggi e vetrate collocate intorno ad ogni spazio consentono di vedere bene le loro varie attività da vicino e anche dall’alto. Altro punto di forza è l’aver creato vasche trasparenti per tutti gli animali e uccelli acquatici: ippopotami, orsi polari, pinguini, uccelli marini si possono ammirare all’asciutto e mentre nuotano. I pannelli informativi, in danese e inglese, spiegano in modo sintetico ma esauriente le loro caratteristiche. Molto bella la sezione dei rettili e degli insetti, con esemplari difficilmente visibili e di enorme interesse. Lo zoo vanta anche la presenza di specie rare in Europa (il diavolo della Tasmania, ad esempio, si trova solo qui e questo zoo è l’unico ad avere l’autorizzazione alla sua riproduzione). Ovviamente, il momento in cui vengono nutriti è il migliore per ammirarli da vicino, perché gli addetti danno nel contempo spiegazioni (dirette soprattutto ai bambini) sul comportamento e le abitudini. Tutta la visita (noi abbiamo impiegato 5 ore) si svolge in un clima rilassato, anche perché i danesi sono educatissimi e i loro bambini manifestano la propria meraviglia in modo misurato e mai strillando o disturbando gli altri. Ristoranti e chioschetti non mancano, ma senza dubbio il più spettacolare è il ristorante a forma di semicerchio adiacente allo spazio del panda, da cui è diviso da una vetrata: mentre si mangia, si vede il panda muoversi dall’altra parte e l’effetto è unico. La giornata è indimenticabile e vale la pena del viaggio a Copenhagen.

Bella esperienza

Zoo urbano, non grandissimo ma con belle strutture storiche ed animali particolari. Non capita tutti i giorni di vedere panda, Okapi o diavoli della Tasmania nei vari exibit. Insomma, coraggio di andare oltre i classici animali che vanno di moda dopo Madagascar. Bello e molto apprezzato dai bambini

Zoo très intéressant

Contrairement à certains commentaires, les animaux ne sont pas maltraités. Bien au contraire nous les avons trouvé plutôt en bonne forme même très propres pour certains type éléphants giraphes etc… Ce parc est très agréable.

Mooie dierentuin!

We bezochten de dierentuin met de Copenhagen Card. Erg leuke en mooi opgezette stadsdierentuin. Omdat het in de stad is is de ruimte uiteraard beperkt, maar de meeste dieren hebben nog steeds een prima verblijf, op enkele oudere verblijven na. Met name de olifantenstal is erg mooi, maar ook het gedeelte over de poolcirkel is geweldig. We stonden onder een zwemmende en springende ijsbeer! Verder is er een reuzenpanda te bewonderen, loop je tussen de kangoeroes door en is er een erg mooi regenwoud-gedeelte. We vonden het er wel best druk, dat merk je vooral bij de restaurants. Maar dat was niet storend.

Mysig eftermiddag på Zoo

Enkelt att köpa biljett online, trevligt bemötande i entrén och nära till restaurang vilket behövdes pga skyfall. Vi fick upplevelsen av att alla djur levde under fina förhållanden och parken är utformad så att vi kunde se alla djur och få närkontakt med många.

Un bon moment

Même si certains animaux n'étaient pas visibles (quelques travaux dans le secteur des ours notamment), ce zoo à taille humaine décomposé en 2 parties (accès sous la route pour relier les 2 secteurs) est très familiale. Vous pourrez observer les ours polaires en extérieur ou sous l'eau. Plusieurs points de restaurations sont présents dans le zoo qui est accessible en bus du centre ville

Jättefint och trevligt zoo

Jättefin anläggning med bra gångvägar, lätt för alla att uppleva hela området. Gick att komma riktigt nära djuren som verkar har det bra med gott om plats och fina miljöer. Fin variation av djur och flera välplanerade anläggningar inom området (nattdjur, savannen, ishavet, tropikerna mm). Allt inom området ingår i entrén vilket inte är så vanligt (förutom mat,dryck och souvenirer förstås).

Schöner Zoo indem man alle Tiere hautnah erleben kann.

Toller Zoo! Der Zoo ist sehr modern gebaut und dadurch ist es möglich die Tiere von allen Seiten, von unterschiedlichen Perspektiven und hautnah zu erleben. Alle Tiere haben einen guten Eindruck gemacht und die Pfleger denen man begegnet ist waren alle sehr freundlich. Auf jeden Fall ein Besuch wert, auch wenn die Preise ziemlich hoch sind.

ein sehr schöner Zoo! Wir haben die Tickets direkt an der Kassa gegen 09:15 Uhr gekauft. Keine Wartezeit an der Kassa - perfekt. Der Zoo ist sehr sauber und die Gehege für die Tiere sehr schön und gepflegt. Diesen Zoo kann ich wirklich empfehlen - TOOOOP.

Stort och mycket att se hela tiden

Stort och fint zoo. Alla sevärdheter ligger nära varandra så det händer något hela tiden. Bra med massa olika små café, restauranger och glass. Tyvärr mår nog några av de större djuren inte så bra psykiskt tex isbjörnarna. Räkna med att ni behöver spendera minst 3 h här; helst mer.

Bellissima esperienza...ma le tarme della farina nel menù bambini?

Siamo stati allo Zoo con mio figlio di 10 anni in agosto.Bellissima esperienza con animali anche molto rari che in Italia non abbiamo mai visto: il panda,il panda rosso,il diavolo della Tasmania,il rinoceronte.Gli animali in buono stato e spazi adeguati per tutti.Entusiasmiante l incontro ravvicinato con i canguri che si lasciavano anche accarezzare.Gentile il personale che ci ha fatto entrare nonostante la macchina del check in non riconoscesse i codici a barre dei biglietti on line.A richiesta e gratuitamente ci hanno anche dato una sedia a rotelle per mia moglie che ha una lieve disabilità che le impedisce di camminare per troppo tempo.Le macchinette con i peluche di cui a una recente recensione qui su Trip purtroppo erano tutte rotte.Molto bello il giro sullo Skyline (una torre verticale dalla quale si vede tutto lo zoo e gran parte della città) anche se si paga a parte (149 kr gli adulti e 99 i bambini).Unica cosa abbiamo mangiato al Ristorante interno Folk che serve specialità svedesi:ottimo lo smollerbro e le insalate, ma nel menu bambini (qualcosa che aveva a che fare coi dinosauri animati presenti nel parco) era specificato che c'erano dei vermicelli e noi sinceramente abbiamo pensato alla pasta...invece erano davvero tarme della farina!Commestibili dal 2021 in tutta Europa ma certamente un pranzo insolito per noi italiani che,inutile dire,mio figlio (ma anche noi) si è ben guardato dal mangiare !

Helt vild oplevelse hvor man kommer helt tæt på dyrene

Den mest fantastiske zoo jeg har været i nogen sinde fik slet ikke set det hele op de timer jeg var der. Først løver som en dyrepasser fortalte en masse spændende ting om og så over til girafferne og næsehornene og zebraerne m.v. som gik sammen i en indhegning man følte man kom helt tæt på dem her efter gik turen down under hvor jeg så den tasmanske pungdjævel og en helt vild oplevelse ventede mig inde ved kænguruerne hvor man kunne gå inde blandt kænguruerne og komme helt tæt på dem en tørrede sin snude i min albue og fnysre mig lige op i hovedet det var helt vildt jeg så self. Også pandaerne hvor den ene sov men den anden var aktiv med spisning her efter gik turen til lidt nordligere breddegrader hvor jeg så isbjørne og Brund bjørne og rensdyr det var en helt vild fantastisk oplevelse at se så mange forskellige dyr så tæt på som man kom her er helt bestemt et sted jeg gerne vil tilbage til igen og klart den zoo jeg vil anbefale folk at besøge har ellers været i nogle stykker men klart den bedste den her. I børne zoo var der alt fra kaniner til køer

Vaut le détour !

Facile d'accès en bus, le zoo vaut le détour pour ses ours blancs et ours bruns que l'on voit rarement dans de si bonnes conditions! Les hippotames sont également bien mis en valeur, le reste est plus banal. A noter que le zoo ferme à 20h00 et nous avons donc pu y aller en fin d'après midi.

Leuke dierentuin voor jong en oud!

Als er een dierentuin in de buurt is op vakantie, dan kunnen we het niet laten om er niet heen te gaan. We zijn gratis binnen gekomen doormiddel van de Copenhagencard. Er werd verteld bij de entree hoe het park in elkaar zat en tot hoelaat het open was. Wij zijn dan ook gratis met de bus gegaan (7A) deze stopt voor de dierentuin. Er zijn heel veel dieren te zien en ze hebben mooie verblijven. Er zijn twee dieren verblijven die mijn zijn bijgebleven, namelijk de pinguïns en de kangoeroes. Wij hebben er ongeveer 3 uur gelopen. Je kan je pinguïns van heel dichtbij zien en leuke foto's maken. En bij de kangoeroes kan je er zelfs doorheen lopen en loop je dus tussen de kangoeroes. Wat ik daarnaast wel jammer vond is dat het park niet heel duidelijk is, er staan wel borden, maar eigenlijk heb je daar niet heel veel aan. Je moet echt goed op de plattegrond kijken wil je de route kunnen voortzetten. Je hebt er restaurants, toilets en winkeltjes. Ik vind dit zeker een aanrader!

Zoo bello!!

Siamo state allo Zoo, la visita è durata mezza giornata! Siamo entrate usando la Copenghen card (tessera a pagamento che ti permette di utilizzare quasi tutti i mezzi e visitare quasi tutte le attrazioni turistiche). Lo zoo è davvero ENORME e ospita moltissime specie animali (dall'orso bianco, alla tigre, al diavolo della Tasmania ai Pony e capretti). Al suo interno ci sono molti negozi di souvenir e molti chioschi dove è possibile mangiare (tra cui quello dei churros...che erano buonissimi!!!!!). Dentro allo zoo vi è anche una parte dove è possibile ammirare le farfalle, uccellini e insetti provenienti da tutto il mondo. All'interno dello zoo inoltre sono disponibili queste macchinette con dentro i peluche (per giocare si può inserire sia la moneta che pagare con il bancomat, circa 3 euro). È molto divertente giocare con queste macchinette poiché in realtà si vince sempre (non come le solite nelle quali si buttano 2 euro e poi non si vince mai). È possibile pescare diversi peluche, tra cui la tigre, il leone, la scimmia, il panda ed etc. Le varie macchinette sono posizionate in diversi punti dello zoo ed ognuna ha peluche differenti. Mi sono divertita molto, però le mie 4 stelle per questo motivo: Alcuni animali a parer mio avevano una gabbia troppo piccola, tipo la tigre, il leopardo e i leoni. Lo spazio a loro disposizione secondo me non era sufficiente, infatti la tigre continuava a camminare intorno al recinto...sintomo di uno spazio stretto e non sufficiente per sgranchirsi le gambe. Anche alcuni uccelli in gabbia (in una gabbia davvero piccola) mi hanno fatto un pò pena. Questo non mi è piaciuto. Per il resto, consiglio di vederlo.

Burası metro ile ulaşabileceğiniz şehrin biraz kenarında büyük parklarla çevrili bir alanda bulunmakta , ben gezmedin ama vaktiniz varda tavsiye ederim ¨~¨~¨~¨~¨~ Este lugar está ubicado en las afueras de la ciudad, al que puedes llegar en metro, en una zona rodeada de grandes parques, no lo visité pero te recomiendo que tengas tiempo

Excelente

No me gusta ver a los animales encerrados, pero tengo que reconocer que este zoo es maravilloso!! Los hábitats son enormes, limpios, no hay olor, los animales se ven excelentes de salud, animados, bien alimentados y motivados. Hay que felicitarlos por el trabajo que llevan adelante para el bienestar de ellos. Muy recomendable!!!

Agradable y muy preparado para niños

No me suelen gustar los zoos pero este me pareció bonito. Hay una zona para niños más pequeños en las que disfrutan aún más. Imprescindible el oso polar nadando sobre ti, el recinto de los pandas y el de los elefantes.

Prachtig

Doordat er goed is nagedacht over de verblijven heb je als toeschouwer vaak het gevoel op de eerste rij te zitten. Je kunt de dieren goed bekijken en de hokken ogen vrij ruim . Ook schikt men niet terug van het voeren van herkenbare stukken vlees of het schikken van een groep chimpansees in het volle zicht met mogelijke ruzies tot gevolg. Je krijgt het idee dat men bewust met de dieren omspringt en het zag er ook allemaal redelijk schoon uit. De toiletten zijn soms goed verstopt en er is een groot aanbod in eten en drinken. Parkeren rondom de dierentuin kan voor een uitdaging zorgen toch is het zeer de moeite waard!

Leuke dierentuin met Copenhagen Card

Leuke dierentuin, je ziet dieren goed. Luipaarden welpjes O.a. , olifanten, giraffen samen met nijlpaarden, .... Fruit te koop aan de ingang. Aanrader
