About
See incredible and bizarre objects
The Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Odditorium in Copenhagen is the only one of its kind in Scandinavia and displays over 500 curiosities and exhibits over two floors. Everything you see here is or was real, whether you believe it or not. Here you can meet extraordinary people from the past and the present, and see incredible objects such as genuine shrunken heads, letters written on a grain of rice and a mummified hand.
Explore the interactive exhibits to find out if you can keep your balance in the Vortex Tunnel and take pictures as you walk on the walls of the illusion zone. Everyone has some form of curiosity in their attic, so does Robert Ripley. In Ripley’s attic you can immerse yourself in his collection of oddities, incredible art and memorabilia.
Fairy tales come to life
There are memorials all over Copenhagen to Hans Christian Andersen, from H.C. Andersens Boulevard with the larger than life bronze statue of the author himself, to the famous statue of the Little Mermaid on the shore of the city. When you visit the Hans Christian Andersen Experience in Copenhagen, you can step into his footsteps.
Follow the Danish author from Odense to his move to Copenhagen at the age of 14 and on his many journeys across Denmark and Europe, which all inspired his incredible stories. Explore the Little Mermaid’s world under the sea and go on a journey of self-discovery with the Ugly Duckling. Travel across the world with Thumbelina as she flees from a forced marriage and try to see the Emperor’s New Clothes.
