Fantastic experience
This is a fantastic experience! Do not expect a serious historical guided tour. That's not what this is. You join for the fun experience, riding a bus that literally splashes into the water and continues as a boat. The guide is absolutely hilarious. He mixes English, Dutch and some attempts in German. A true 'Rotterdammer' he has lots of jokes and only those with the right sense of humor and a quick brain will catch all of them. It was the highlight of our visit to Rotterdam!
Fun way to see city
Wow this was fun. You start on land and then plow into the water. The tour was mostly Dutch and some English. The tour guide seemed to be funny.
A good way to spend an hour.
Pretty good really, saw some nice sights. Tour guide was good, quite funny. Interesting sailing on the water on the bus. Says it’s in English and you could claim that. Most is in Dutch with some English. Which was fine. When you’re in the water though, you can’t hear any commentary at all.
Great bus tour!
Fun with a good view and you can also tell your friends that it's a normal bus (because it looks like one) to see their reaction to it driving into the water - and also good jokes shared.
Absolutely amazing
Absolutely amazing experience highly recommend. Great views of SS Rotterdam, Euromast and our cruise ship from a unique perspective. Guides were both awesome and so knowledgeable plus fun, really great for all ages and we thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Thank you for a truly amazing and memorable trip !!
A life on the ocean wave can be a lot of fun...!
We had a fun hour in the bus on a cold, sunny day. The land part of the tour did not cover so much of the city centre but it was only one hour end to end. Driving into the water was a unique experience and getting close to the SS Rotterdam was fun too. Special mention to the guide (Gary) who was very funny and also the driver (whose name we did not hear!)
Unmissable trip
Excellent trip with live commentary (be warned the commentator has a quirky sense of humour) £25.60 for one adult very novel one hour tour through streets and on water in the dock (we passed our cruise ship). Well worth the money

Splashtours Rotterdam
A brilliant way of seeing Rotterdam on Land And water. You can use the toliet at the ticket office area before you board and if you wish you can get a hot/cold drink in the bar which was downstairs from the office. It only takes a hour but it worth it, First taking approx 20mins to get to the water entrance and another 25 mins in the river. Saw Erasmus Bridge, SS Rotterdam plus other sites. What made this trip so memorable was the tour guide on the bus, He was so friendly and funny and he even let some people take photos next to the driver.

Amphibian Adventure
What a fun & thrilling experience!! Seeing the sights on land & sea! Our guide, co-captain was informative, direct, humourous, & inclusive. It was purely exhilarating being in a bus on the sea! A not to be missed excursion in Rotterdam!!
Something different, highly recommended.
If you want to try something different at Rotterdam then a Splashtours tour is just right. A drive through the city then the coach enters the water and takes you on a river tour. A 30 minute walk from the cruise terminal and next to the Euromast. Would highly recommend the tour.
Not something you see, or do, everyday!
What a fun activity! Excellent guide onboard. You certainly get noticed. Located right next to the Euromast so you really can't miss it. Takes about an hour.
Unique and great experience!
I was having a day trip from Amsterdam and this was something I really wanted to experience. Little bit different bus ride! Guide and driver were great and they gave us their best. I think the seats are given in order of booking so early birds get front seats. It was nice that people from back had also chance to visit extra seats in front to have a nice photos and views.

Amazing experience, the guides were very nice! I just missed a little bit of more interaction and playfulness with the travelers, as I've experienced in Portugal, for example. But it's a beautiful way to dive onto the Rotterdam's story.

A Unique and Fun Experience! The Splashtour in Rotterdam was such a unique and memorable experience—definitely worth trying! Driving straight into the water was exciting, and seeing the city from both land and river gave a fresh perspective. A big shoutout to our guide, Ger, who made the tour even more enjoyable. His kind attitude and positive energy added so much to the trip. He shared lots of interesting facts about Rotterdam and kept us entertained throughout with his great sense of humor. Splashtours - an alternative way to see some Rotterdam sights!
Took friends visiting from the US to see Rotterdam with a twist. It’s a great way to spend an hour. We had Francis as our guide and he was great switching from Dutch to English to ensure everyone got the same info at the same time which was also balanced with a lot of humour. Shout out to Lucas the driver for a smooth ride down the Maas! Highly recommend this tour.
A great, novel experience!
This was really good fun and exciting, I was amazed by the fact that we could be on a bus driving through the water! The tour guide was quite a character, very entertaining. The staff in the ticket office and bar were lovely and one of them suggested a scenic route through museum park for us to get back to the centre, which was very helpful.

Great trip
Really enjoyed our splash tour, had an excellent guide. Saw parts of Rotterdam by bus and water, and we were lucky with very good weather. Good great photos of ss Rotterdam Booked the river taxi from stop 44 New York hotel for our cruise ship to 65 for splash tour, which made it really easy. Should however have rebooked a return one (ended up on a tram and a walk!)

Fun, interesting, great way to see Rotterdam.
Brilliant way to see a lot, with amazing guides and "ship" captain in charge. You get a lot of information, you see a lot, both on land and on the water. Commentary is in Dutch and English, [not sure if any other languages are on offer.] Get there early, to get a good seat. Young children are offered the chance to sit at the front, for a short time, when in the water.

There were five in our group and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The guide was informative and both he and the driver were very friendly. It was a different way to see the sights of Rotterdam.

Super kids-friendly
Had a ride with my 6yo son. The two well-experienced Dutch gentlemen (driver and conductor) were very nice. The conductor was very funny and gave the explanation in Dutch/English/German. He even gave a small toy to my son as a souvenir (nothing expensive but I appreciated it as a gesture) and he let every child on board sit in the front seat one by one. We live in the Netherlands as foreigners and this is exactly what I love about this country. The ride was not really cheap but it would definitely make your child’s day. Tips voor Nederlandse mensen: kijk naar kortingswebsites zoals ANWB of Trippers. Mss kun je een goede deal vinden.
bijzondere ervaring
bijzondere ervaring. Korte tour door de stad en rondje door de haven tussen de SS Rotterdam en de Erasmusbrug. Door de combinatie interessant, de 'splash' is vrij spectaculair en om in een bus door de haven te varen ook! De gids die wij hadden maakte er, naast de nodige informatie ook echt entertainment van op z'n Rotterdams, soms flauw, meestal briljant! Aanbeveling: neem gehoorbescherming mee: de waterjets maken veel lawaai, maar de geluidsinstallatie van de bus gaat daar makkelijk overheen....

Wir waren sehr zufreiden, einfach mal was anderes und Vorallem spannend. Die Kinder hatten viel Spaß und wurden nach vorne geholt um die beste Sicht zu haben.
Misschien wel het leukste uitje in Rotterdam!
Het is natuurlijk al een heel bijzondere ervaring om met een bus ineens het water in te rijden. Heel leuk om onderweg allerlei wetenswaardigheden te horen over de stad. Maar het állerleukste is toch wel de manier waarop de gids de tour begeleidt: hilarisch! Bepaald geen saaie opsomming van feiten. Een absolute aanrader!

Het was geweldig, een onvergetelijke belevenis voor ons en onze kleinkinderen, we hebben er met z’n allen van genoten, alle verwachtingen werden waargemaakt, inclusief de splash. Voldoende personeel, allemaal even vriendelijk

Gezellig met mijn neefje van 12 hier mee weggeweest, was een hele leuke ervaring ook de gids deed het heel leuk.

Een bijzonder mooie ervaring. Goed georganiseerd. Prima begeleiding door de crew. Een zeer enthousiaste begeleider die met veel weetjes en een gezonde doses humor de tour aan elkaar praatte. We hebben op een bijzonder leuke manier Rotterdam een beetje leren kennen. Het is ons als Amsterdammers heel goed bevallen.

Leuke Tour
Bij ons bezoek aan Rotterdam hebben we een rit/vaartocht met Splashtours gemaakt. Een geweldige ervaring om eens mee te maken. Met een zeer goede uitleg van de crew( van wat je onderweg allemaal ziet). Wat wel beter kan / moet is om de ramen van tevoren even schoon te maken zodat men alles beter kan zien.(deze waren behoorlijk vies!) .
Leuk
Was leuk. Vriendelijke gids, vertelde leuk. Het stukje naar het water hebben we merendeel vast gestaan voor het stoplicht. Uur was gauw voorbij.
Leukste Rotterdams uitje!
Superleuk uitje! Op basis van je reserveringstijd mocht je een plaats in de 'beschuit' (bus/schuit) uitzoeken. Veel aandacht voor de kinderen, elk kind kreeg gelegenheid om een keer voorin te zitten. 'Matroos Ger' maakte dit uitje onvergetelijk door op zijn Rotterdams en met veel humor een lach op ieders gezicht te toveren!
Leuke trips door Rotteram
Leuke tocht. Aandacht voor de kinderen aan boord en erg vriendelijk personeel. Je ziet veel echt Rotterdam van de weg en vanaf het water.
