From downtown Berlin a comfortable bus takes you to the former grounds. On the bus you will be given an introduction to the tour, with the required background information. From here the bus heads to Oranienburg, where you will see several sites where the forced labourers of Sachsenhausen camp worked, including SS-villas. You’ll explore the entire grounds with enough time to take everything in. Do keep in mind that tour can be intensive, there is a lot of walking involved. The tour runs in all weather circumstances, but mostly takes place outside, so prepare yourself if needed (jackets, sunscreen, umbrellas).
