Can I choose my return time from the Gardens to Amsterdam?
No, you must come back at the time you selected originally when you booked the tour
How long does it take to get from Amsterdam to the Keukenhof Gardens?
The commute is about 45 minutes (depending on traffic).
How long in advance I need to be at the meeting point in Amsterdam and where is it?
Please be at the meeting point at least 20 min in advance. Tours depart from: TOURS & TICKETS store in Amsterdam Central Station: IJ-Hal, De Ruijterkade 34 a, 1012 AA Amsterdam. Click here for the map.
How long in advance I need to be at the meeting point at Keukenhof and where is it?
Please be at the meeting point at least 10 min in advance. The meeting point is in the parking lot of the park. Your guide on board will inform you exactly where and at what time you need to be back at the bus.
Are there toilets on board?
No, there are no toilets on board of the buses, but there are plenty at the Keukenhof Gardens.
Is there WIFI on board?
No, there is no WiFi on board.
What happens if I miss my tour and/or my bus?
If you miss your tour from Amsterdam, you will need to pay a fee to reschedule the tour for another time. If you miss your bus from Keukenhof, please contact our staff member at the parking lot or call our office for instructions.
Make sure you know where and on what number you can contact us in case you get lost, or when you miss the bus. The guide will provide you with all the information you need to have and will hand you a brochure with our contact info.
If I miss my bus from the park, do you cover my costs to come back to Amsterdam?
No, you need to make your own way back to Amsterdam. We do not hold responsible for these costs.
Where is the bus meeting point at the park?

Can we bring food/drinks on the bus?
Yes, you can drink soft drinks on board. Eating is not allowed on the bus.
I have a younger child under 3 years old, do they get a seat on the bus?
Children under 3 years old with no ticket do not have a seat on board, they can sit on their parent's lap. If you wish to have a separate seat for the child, you need to buy them a separate child ticket.
Can we reserve seats on the bus?
No, this is not possible. First come, first serve.
Where will the bus drop me off at the end of the tour?
The bus will bring you back to Amsterdam Central Station.
Keukenhof and its beautiful gardens
Which is the best period to visit the Keukenhof?
Any time is the best time ;) Since we need to let nature do its course, we cannot know in advance when the flowers will be at their peak.
How long do I have to visit the gardens?
About 3 hours.
Is it possible to eat/drink something at the Keukenhof Gardens?
Yes! You can bring your own food/drinks or purchase something at the park directly. There are many options to cater to all tastes and budgets.
Is there a stop at the flower fields?
No, there is no stop at the flower fields on the regular tours, only on the Bulbfarm Tour.
Can we rent bikes inside the park?
No, bikes are not allowed inside the gardens.
Does my ticket to the park include a boat ride inside?
No, if you wish, you can purchase a separate ticket inside to take a short boat ride through the gardens.
If the weather is bad, can we reschedule our tour?
No, unless it is not safe to go on the road, tours cannot be canceled or rescheduled.
Keukenhof Tours & Combinations
What is the difference between a regular tour and the transfer?
The regular tour includes a guide on board and a very informative audio guide on board with interesting information regarding the park. The transfer does not include any additional information nor a guide on board.
Will my tour be guided (and in what language)?
The guides do not come inside the park with you, they will only be acommpanying guest on the bus. The regular Keukenhof Tour includes an audio guide on board in several languages and the Keukenhof & Bulb Farm is live guided in English, Spanish, and German.
*At the bulb farm the farmer will provide the information in English, and the guide will translate for you in Spanish and German.
I booked a combination, what will I be visiting first?
We do not provide timetables for the tours, the combination tours have different schedules and routes per bus. You visit all the same places, but we can't give you a timetable upfront. When you get to the office on the day of the tour you can always check with the guide what your schedule looks like for the day.
When I book a tour combination can I do one of the tours on a different day?
No. The complete tour takes place on one day. The 1hr canal cruise, however, can be used any day (click here for operating hours and departure location of the cruise and/or check with our colleagues).
Accessibility for the tours and for the Keukenhof Gardens
Can I visit the Keukenhof with a wheelchair?
Yes, this is no problem! The park offers excellent access for (electric) wheelchairs and has plenty of disabled toilet facilities. The use of a wheelchair is free of charge. Use of electric wheelchairs is allowed but they are not available at Keukenhof.
Is it possible to rent a wheelchair at the Keukenhof?
Yes, they have wheelchairs available. You can reserve a wheelchair up to the day before your visit at 17:00 at the latest. We have a limited number of wheelchairs available and therefore recommend that you reserve one as soon as possible.

Can I join the tour with a wheelchair?
Yes! we can bring your wheelchair on the bus as long as it can be folded. Please note that electric wheelchairs do not fit on the bus.
Can I bring a suitcase with me on the bus?
Yes, this is possible but only hand luggage. If you have a bigger bag, you can rent a locker at central station.
Can I be picked up /dropped off from/to my hotel?
Not every hotel has a pick-up service, please consult this with your hotel directly. Drop off service is not available.
Can I bring a dog with me on board?
No, animals are not allowed on the bus.
Bloemencorso: April 13th, 2019
I would like to see the Bloemencorso, which tour should I join? And can I leave the park and after that enter again?
Then you should join our regular excursion on April 13th, 2019 with departure at 11.15 or at 11.45 or our Keukenhof Transfer with departure at 12.15. It is possible to leave the park and reenter again on the same day.
At what time will I be back in Amsterdam?
You will be back in Amsterdam around 20.00, depending on the traffic.
It is certain that I will see the Bloemencorso?
The Bloemencorso will be at 15.30 at the park. For more info about this colorful event please visit the Bloemencorso website. Please note, it is a moving event so we cannot guarantee that will be visible from the Keukenhof Gardens.
