ARTIS - Sleepwalk

Always wanted to visit a zoo in the dark? Then this is your chance! Do the Sleepwalk at ARTIS Amsterdam Royal Zoo from December 6th.

With the help of a special app you can experience ARTIS in the dark, after opening time. How do flamingos sleep on one leg? Why do mushrooms give light and how do bats hunt in the dark? Get answers to all these questions during this special walk. Make sure your phone is sufficiently charged (at least 50%) because the app will show you the way. For 2019/2020, ARTIS is a cultural partner of the Amsterdam Light Festival. The theme of this edition is "Disrupt".
