Paradoxen, illusies en interactieve installaties
Als je door de deur van het Paradox Museum stapt, laat je de normale wereld achter je en wordt jouw versie van de werkelijkheid op zijn kop gezet. Met meer dan 70 installaties om te verkennen en mee te experimenteren kun je het Paradox Museum in Stockholm niet verlaten zonder een glimlach op je gezicht. Verrassend leuk voor jong en oud
Samen met een vriendin op citytrip.... dat vraagt een bezoek aan het Paradoxmuseum. Niet goed wetende wat te verwachten, gingen we er naartoe. En het was een meevaller... leuk, interactief, zowel voor jong als oud. Sommige opstellingen zijn voorzien om foto's te nemen en daar moet je soms even wachten. Het resultaat is echter wel leuk en zorgt voor een leuk aandenken.
Grappig kunstmuseum
Leuk museum, allerlei grappige kunst die ook knap in elkaar zit. Het museum heeft verder behulpzaam personeel en overal de perfecte fotoplek al je op de grond geplakt.

Kul och coolt Mycket folk annars kanske vi satt betyg 5. Barnbarnet, 10 år, tyckte det var riktigt bra. Trevlig personal som tipsade om hur man kunde tänka kring fotograferingen.

Dyrt, men kul.
Jag och 10 årig dotter. Bokade i förväg och tog tidig tid, redan vid öppning kl 9. Så det var inte trångt och väntetider. Trodde att det skulle vara större och fler upplevelser. Speciellt med tanke på priset som är löjligt högt i förhållande till utbud.

Zero gravity-rum var en besvikelse, men allt annat var kanonbra. Och shoppen är en verklig skattkista för en julklappsjägare.

Musée de l'illusion identique
On passe un bon moment à découvrir ce musée. Il n'est pas si différents des autres pays . On peut également faire de belles photos pour les réseaux Temps entre 45 et 60 minutes
Good Fun
Good to do on a day when the weather isn’t so good. Very straight forward layout some though provoking stuff but otherwise just some great illusions. An hour to 90 mins max but might be longer with kids.

Adam, was a really good guide, helped us take photos and explained illusions to us. The museum was really fun!
Worthy experience
It was very fun, especially with a group of friends. It also didn't take too long and didn't drag at any points. The staff is also super awesome and nice.

Heaps of fun for a couple of septuagenarians from Australia. Such friendly and helpful staff. Thoroughly recommend this not-to-miss experience in Stockholm

Good place on a rainy day
It is like most Museums of Illusions across different cities in the world today. This one has some interesting spaces. With patience one can take a lot of interesting pictures. However, with lots of people around, the experience can be a bit sorry / time consuming. Good to visit on a rainy day with kids. Otherwise, I would rather skip this one.
Great place for funny pictures!
It was great fun and we got funny pictures taken :) the gravity room had to be reserved in advance, so it was a bit disappointing that we didn't get to go in there. Otherwise a nice place to visit!
Fun for kids
We visited here with a 10 year old child. It was really nice but quite short, the visit took less than hour. They didnt tell us that one action needs to be prebooked and we missed it. Otherwise instructions were good. Sometimes there were long queues to the action points.
Fun family outing
Fun family outing. Basically an illusion museum. Would have been good if the person managing the new exhibit (slowly spinning room like a space capsule) had explained what it was and suggested to the kids what to do before they went in it for filming. (Arms in the air like you're floating). Not a busy day when we went. Good for kids and teenagers. Adults have probably seen it before.
Everything is not what you see
Paradox Museum is a fascinating place with many paradoxes to explore. My 7-year-old kids loved trying out everything, and we took plenty of photos. However, they let in a bit too many people, even though you need to book in advance, so it felt a bit crowded and stressful inside. Despite that, it was a great experience and definitely worth a visit.
Fun family museum
We had so much fun here - 3 adult + 1 baby. We visited in December on a week day and there weren’t many people which gave us heaps of time to play around with the different activities. It was great that our little one could touch things and be a part of the experience. We also enjoyed visiting the ABBA museum if anyone is looking for museums suitable for young children.
Great fun, interesting and lovely staff
Loved this little gem - the staff were so helpful despite a language barrier and one member of staff who's English was pretty good took us around to show us where/how best to take pics - he took a lot of them for us. This was a fun experience and can't understand others grumbling about it - it was interesting, innovative and defintely great for a day when the weather isn't brilliant or when you've walked the feet off yourself around the city. I would definitely recommend it - there's a great cafe and a lovely gift shop also. It's situated right beside a large children's toy shop.

Kul och lärorikt museum! Inte alls så trångt som jag befarat, det var mycket folk men trots att vi var där på en lördag så var köerna korta och hanterbara. Min son är 10 år och det tycker jag känns som en perfekt ålder för besök. Inträdet kostade en del, men dels antar jag att det är hårt tryck på utställningen, så att det kan finnas behov av många reparationer och dels är säkert lokalens hyra skyhög.
Great family attraction
Fantastic place to visit with family. a Lot to see and experience for the whole family. In addition, we got great holiday pictures of the whole family in paradoxical positions.
Selection of fun illusions
Odd that some visitors gave this place such poor reviews, when it delivers what it promises: a good selection of visual illusions playing with your eyes and brain. As not everyone wanted to scan a QR code to understand each exhibit and as the basic labelling was not always enough to get the best out of them, there were staff wandering around assisting - with what to do to get the experience and to help with photos. Even when warned, some installations triggered disorientation - sloping room and the tunnel in particular. Overall good fun and made us think.
Fantastiskt roligt på Paradox Museum.
Det här museet bjuder på illusioner av olika slag. Hela Paradox är som gjort för att ta riktigt roliga bilder och selfies. Vi hade jättekul där och jag kan varm rekommendera ett besök. Särskilt roligt är det att gå dit med barn och ungdomar. Jag tror dock att barnen bör vara minst fem år för att uppskatta museet.
Cool and fun
We arrived early and got straight in which I'd recommended as it got really busy later on. We really enjoyed the exhibits. Well worth a visit, especially with kids.
Coolt ställe och fantastisk personal
Fantastiskt ställe, rekommenderas verkligen för barn och vuxna. En plats att skapa roliga minnen och skratt. Vi hann inte fullfölja vår visit här sist pga några omständigheter vi inte kunde rå för, och ska därför tillbaka om några dagar. Jag vill bara ägna några ord till Alice som arbetar här som hjälp oss så fint. Hon möjliggjorde att vi kunde få komma tillbaka och uppleva Paradox, som vi inte hann med sist. Helt fantastisk service från henne. Så fint bemötande. Och hennes varma ton fick oss att känna oss så välkomna tillbaka.
Hjärnan blir lurad
Ett kul ställe både för vuxen och barn med alla paradoxer som lurar hjärnan. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Ska nog undvika att komma på en helg för det var mycket folk och vissa ”stationer” fick man stressa sig igenom pga pressen man kände när man såg hur kön växte Bra att ha i åtanke vid besöket är att se till att mobilen är laddad. Ni förstår vid besöket 🙂
One of the highlights of our trip
We really enjoyed this. Didn’t arrive until 5pm so it wasn’t too busy. Good, fun way to spend a couple of hours. Works best when there are at least 3 of you- so 2 people can be in the photos and the third stands on the marked spot
Detta va kul!
Roligt ställe, där en stor del av grejen ör att man tar foto som man sen kan kolla på och skratta åt i efterhand. För dyrt för hur litet det är men jag ångrar inte besöket, detta är något helt annorlunda mot andra museum! Se till att vara där tidigt, för det bildas snabbt köer, och då kan det kännas stressigt. Det bygger på att man går in i olika utrymmen, tar ett foto och går vidare, alla gör samma, men det finns också grejer att kolla på. Bra att veta är att det finns toaletter där inne. Det finns också endast ett rum med blinkande lampor (som det varnas för & där vi ljuskänsliga kan skippa). Vi gick i princip först och va där inne i 30 min. Ligger centralt.

An unexpected find!
An unexpected find while on a long weekend in Stockholm. If you prefer your museums to be interactive, this is for you! So much fun. The mind literally blows my mind! It was a Monday morning when we visited, so not too crowded. We took our time exploring it all, and we’re probably there for 90 mins.
Kul ställe men galet med folk
Jo då det va ett kul ställe med massor av roliga saker, men inte en lördag då det va massor med folk och köer överallt. Det förstörde en del tyvärr
Hygge mellem store og små. Relativ hurtigt overstået - tager Ca en time
et ganske hyggeligt museum, men det er dyrt i forhold til hvor lille det er. Flere sjove oplevelser. Jeg havde måske for høje forventninger, men var en smule skuffet da vi var færdige. Der er god styring af antallet af gæster som gør at man kan nå at se ting uden at man står meget oveni hinanden - og det kan være det er grunden til at det er relativt dyrt 🤷♀️ Det er en god oplevelse for store og små og man hygger sig sammen på tværs af alder ❤️

Spännande och annorlunda.
Roligt för den som gillar att utforska och få nya perspektiv. Våra barn såg reklamen och hade verkligen önskat sig att få gå dit. Bra att komma ihåg att boka biljetter i förväg. Många tider blir slutsålda. Då kan det ändå bli lite trångt, och köer vid de populära rummen. Trevligt att personalen gärna hjälper till att ta bilder. Lätt att hitta till, precis vid utgången från Hötorgets tunnelbana.

Det närmaste man kan komma tricky eye i Sverige.Hade stor & betydande hjälp under vårt besök av en härlig skånepåg.
Worth the visit
This is a fun place to get some silly photos and see some optical illusions. It would be ideal for groups of people. Many of the photos require two people to set up and a third to take the photo (although they have staff who help guests take photos). The was a highlight of our trip to Stockholm for my 12-year-old. We did not buy tickets in advance and didn't have issues, however it was quite busy even though we arrived after 7pm.

Musée très drôle pour petits et grands. Pensez à pouvoir prendre des photos sinon il a moins d'intérêt. Pensez à réserver comme tous les musées à Stockholm.
Great for teens
We spent a fun couple of hours here with our teenage boys. Plenty to see and do - very interactive and lots of things to blow your mind!
Super sympa mais petit
À faire car c’est hyper original et drôle ! Le musée est petit, en 3/4 h c’est fini ! Dommage le personnel n’explique rien à l’intérieur et n’aide pas à faire les photos alors que c’est le principe du musée. A noter de nombreuses choses cassées donc hors d’usage, dommage. Mais honnêtement on passe un super moment ! Et le rendu des mises en scène est top !
Good fun
Quite hard to find as underground by a entrance to the metro. Plenty of exhibits based on optical illusions which are good fun. Not a large museum so an hour and a half is plenty and whilst fun after a while the exhibits lost their impact. Still worth a visit though.

A really fun and interesting place to visit, great for adults and kids. One or two of the exhibits really baffle your brain!
A little different - a lot of fun
On our annual Mother -Daughter trip (young adult daughter) , we included this experience since we are familiar with a number of immersive/interactive museums(activities) . This is a good one since it focuses on various types of perceptual illusions beyond the usual selfie venues. It's fun and imaginative, spend about 1 hr 1/1/2 , in a busy part of town. There are some shots that require a third person - and although they say staff will be there to assist - there are not enough so it sometimes requires the kindness of strangers All in all - it was fun and worth the time, but without any identifying Stockholm reference
