Una lezione di storia indimenticabile
Il Neues Museum, costruito nel XIX secolo come estensione dell'Altes Museum, fu lasciato in rovina per diversi decenni dopo la Seconda Guerra Mondiale e riaperto solo nel 2009.
Il museo ospita mostre sulla storia culturale di diverse parti del mondo. Troverai più di 9.000 oggetti storici esposti su quattro piani diversi, suddivisi in tre grandi collezioni: il Museo e la Collezione Egizia, il Museo della Preistoria e della Storia Antica e la Collezione delle Antichità Classiche.
A un solo anno dalla sua riapertura, il Neues Museum era già il museo più visitato della città con circa 1,1 milioni di visitatori. Un museo imperdibile, che offre incredibili spunti di riflessione su momenti importanti della storia del mondo.

Curioso
Grande palazzo di tre piani con grandi scalinate, spazi infiniti, dove è esposto di tutto e di più: civiltà antiche, collezioni di papiri, tombe, camere di sepoltura, gioielli, reperti egizi e l'attrazione principale è rappresentata dal busto della regina Nefertiti
Da vedere anche solo per il busto mozzafiato di Nefertiti
Assolutamente merita la visita! Il Neues Museum è splendidamente curato, ma il vero highlight è il busto mozzafiato di Nefertiti – così realistico ed elegante, che ti ferma davvero sulle tue tracce. Un must - vedere per chiunque sia interessato alla storia antica e all'arte senza tempo.

Museo pieno di risorse archeologiche importanti e famosissime, come il busto di Nefertiti e il cappello d'oro. Prezzo ridotto per studenti. Se avete il tempo andateci.

L'entrata al Neues Museum fa parte del biglietto combinato Isola dei Musei che mi è costato € 24. Il museo è distribuito su tre piani con più di 25 sale da poter vedere. Il pezzo forte è il busto della regina Nefertiti.
Museo di altissimo livello
Da visitare per il tesoro di Priamo e Busto di Nefertiti e testa verde. Il resto(dopo aver visto il museo egizio di Torino e il British museum di Londra) è tutto già visto. Vale però il biglietto la mostra temporanea ( che ormai è diventata permanente dopo la guerra in Ucraina) dei gioielli goti ritrovati in Crimea. Veramente notevoli!incontrato un sorvegliante italiano molto gentile e disponibile che ci ha raccontato cose interessanti. Grazie!
Museo davvero interessante per Egizi e busto di Nefertiti (che da solo varrebbe il biglietto)
Ricostruito da David Chipperfield dopo i danni della Seconda Guerra Mondiale, è noto per il busto di Nefertiti e il "Cappello d'oro di Berlino". Fa parte della famosa isola dei Musei e vale assolutamente la pena visitarlo per la sua importanza storica
Eccellente. Cosa dire di più?
Sono sempre in imbarazzo quando mi metto in mente di recensire un luogo così celebre da essere sicuramente oggetto di migliaia di altri commenti - e infatti spesso ci rinuncio. Faccio però qualche eccezione, a costo di apparire ripetitivo e scontato, quando mi trovo di fronte ad autentiche eccezionalità nel loro genere, e nel caso del Neues Museum non si può che usare questa espressione. Non solo per i pezzi più straordinari della collezione, noti urbi et orbi, a partire dall'impressionante busto della regina Nefertiti e dal cappello d'oro dei capi astrologi dell'età del bronzo, ma per la grandiosa serie di reperti di qualità presenti nelle sale, tutti ben disposti e commentati. A voler trovare il pelo nell'uovo, si potrebbe dire che qualche sala un po' sotto il livello complessivo c'è, ma di fronte a tanta magnificenza è davvero un nonnulla. Ottima idea aver messo in carniere anche questa esperienza. Fa bene allo spirito. E certo non mi pento di averci passato più di quattro ore e mezzo.
Interessante ma...
Interessante, anche se l'organizzazione della mostra risulta disordinata e disorganizzata. Confusione anche nella numerazione dei reperti, spesso cancellata o non corrispondente a quella presente sulle audioguida. Peccato! Nefertiti molto bella.
Bel Museo, ma non imperdibile
Abbiamo visitato questo Museo in quanto il vicino e più noto Pergamon Museum è temporaneamente chiuso per restauro. Devo dire che nell'insieme non ci è stato facile orientarci e capire dove fosse l'ingresso, consiglierei forse di aumentare la segnaletica per aiutare i turisti in tal senso. Il Museo ha una struttura moderna ed ospita principalmente reperti dell'antica Grecia, antica Roma, antico Egitto. In particolare sono davvero eccezionali il busto di Nefertiti e la "Testa verde di Berlino", qualcosa che vale davvero la pena vedere. Nell'insieme devo dire che il personale alla biglietteria è stato poco cordiale e quasi scocciato, la visita al Museo è sicuramente interessante ma in caso di belle giornate consiglio di dedicare le giornate ad altre visite. Può essere un buon "ripiego" in caso visitate la città in una giornata di pioggia.
Un bellissimo museo, da non perdere!
Una tappa obbligata nella complessivamente affascinante "Isola dei musei" ove si trova concentrata in un relativamente breve spazio gran parte della più pregevole offerta museale di Berlino. Concordo con altri visitatori: è consigliabile dedicare circa tre ore alla visita per poter godere sia dei reparti preistorici che di quelli assiri ed egizi (soprattutto: si tratta di una collezione molto ricca e varia, ben presentata), di quelli greci, romani e medievali (forse i meno interessanti). Immancabile la sosta dinanzi alla enigmatica Nefertiti ed anche quella davanti al "cappello d'oro". Non avevamo acquistato i biglietti online, ma siamo entrati senza attesa alcuna.
Museo Neues
Il Museo Neues, è il punto di riferimento a Berlino per l'arte egiziana e assira. Presente una parte archeologica cospicua di reperti. Confermo che occorre il giusto tempo da dedicare alle mostre perché ne vale la pena.
Pomeriggio al museo
Bellissimo museo dedicato ai popoli antichi. Molto interessante anche per chi magari non è esperto in materia. Peccato che Nefertiti non si possa fotografare e tutto il resto sì.
Non solo Nefertiti
Anni fa non ero riuscita a visitare questo museo e mi ero molto rammaricata di non aver potuto vedere la famosa scultura del volto di Nefertiti. Ebbene, il museo vale decisamente la pena ma quella scultura è solo uno dei gioielli in esso custoditi. Consiglio di iniziare dal terzo piano e scendere poi ai piani inferiori, tenendo presente che il primo piano e quello ancora più basso sono ricchi di tesori dell’antichità egizia e assira che meritano di essere ammirati con attenzione. Suggerisco pertanto di destinare alla visita almeno 3 ore.
La regina Nefertiti
Non molto distante dal centro si trova un'aerea della capitale tedesca conosciuta con il nome dell' "Isola dei musei", dove storia e tradizione la fanno da padrone nella fredda Berlino. Il Neues Museum è una di queste attrazioni, da visitare con tutta calma visto che sui lunghi tre piani, si passa dall' epoca romana o greca, ai primi resti dell'uomo di Neanderthal, alle gesta dei faraoni egizi sino all'epoca del Medioevo. Possibile gratuitamente usufruire dell'audioguida in italiano, anche se non presenti tutte le voci in descrizione. Molti, tanti restano affascinati dal busto della regina di Nefertiti, autentica attrazione del Museo. Costo 14 euro. Da consigliare però con alcune remore.
Visita immancabile a Berlino
A distanza di anni ho ritrovato i capolavori del museo, il busto di Nefertiti, il cappello d’oro, la splendida collezione egizia. La macchina del tempo è molto interessante, così come la collezione romana (dal fiume Reno). L’audioguida è gratuita e fornisce buone spiegazioni, pur coprendo una selezione assai limitata. All’ingresso, rigide procedure di ammissione. Avendo la Berlin Welcome Card con l’opzione Museuminsel siamo entrate subito, senza prenotazione. Il grazioso caffè / ristorante del museo permette di fare una pausa durante la visita.
Personale da rivedere
Ho visitato il museo durante il mio soggiorno in città e ho trovato le collezione e le esposizioni estremamente interessanti, il migliore dell'isola dei musei dopo il Pergamon. L'edificio stesso è affascinante e molto grande, sono necessarie almeno 2/3 ore per visitare tutto. All'ingresso è possibile anche prendere un audioguida gratuita che può essere utile a comprendere meglio ciò che si vede, anche se dopo un po' le cuffie iniziano a dare fastidio a causa della loro bassa qualità. Inoltre la guida non segue neanche l'ordine di ciò che si vede rendendo necessario ricercare sul dispositivo l'opera di cui si desidera ascoltare la spiegazione, rendendo il tutto ancora più noioso. Devo aggiungere che ho trovato il personale del museo non molto cordiale e disponibile, a tratti anche sgarbato anche nei confronti di altri visitatori. Inoltre nel periodo della mia visita c'era anche una mostra relativa all'Uzbekistan, anche se devo ammettere che non l'ho apprezzata granché. Complessivamente ne è comunque valsa la pensa e consiglio di visitarlo dato che presenta molti reperti del periodo egizio, romano e preistorico.
Immancabile, imperdibile, affascinante
Esperienza indimenticabile per chiunque ami i musei archeologici, il Neues Museum rappresenta, a mio gusto, insieme con il Pergamon (che fa parte dello stesso complesso, sull'isola del Musei), la visita più bella e interessante che si possa fare a Berlino. Assolutamente necessaria la prenotazione con data e ora da fare sul sito web, portando con sé la stampata (!), altrimenti non si entra. Sebbene il pezzo più famoso e attraente sia costituito dal celebre Busto di Nefertiti, tanti altri sono i reperti che rendono unica al mondo l'ampia collezione. Ricca la libreria dello shop.
Non solo Nefertiti
Il museo, collegato direttamente al Pergamonmuseum, non è solo il giustamente celebre e decantato busto della bellissima Nerfertiti, ma è anche molto, molto altro. Il museo ospita infatti, oltre alla pregevole collezione egizia, il museo della preistoria e delle antichità classiche.....da perderci la testa!
Molto bello
Museo molto bello, da dedicarci almeno un pomeriggio (noi siamo stati dentro 3 ore e abbiamo visto tutto con calma). Unica nota da migliorare è l'audioguida (compresa nel prezzo del biglietto), che non aiuta molto nel capire come muoversi e che non spiega solo alcune delle sale che si visitano.

The most prized possession of the Neues Museum, so called even though it's the home of Egyptian, Greek and Roman antiquities, is the bust of Nefertiti. It is well worth a visit, so are many of the other treasures.

The Neues Museum is a fascinating place to visit, with an impressive collection of Egyptian artefacts and ancient history, including the famous bust of Nefertiti. The exhibits are well presented, and there is plenty to see. Staff were a bit hit and miss during our visit, with some being very helpful and welcoming, while others came across as quite rude. Despite this, the museum itself is well worth a visit.

Amazing Egyptian collection
The museum houses an amazing collection of art and artifacts and is well worth a visit! I was particularly interested in the Egyptian collection, which is extensive and impressive! The museum also houses the bust of Nerfertiti but there is so much other amazing art and history to enjoy!
Umfangreiche Ausstellung, aber mühsames Personal
Das Neue Museum zeigt auf mehreren Etagen archäologische Funde aus verschiedenen Regionen und Epochen. Der Höhepunkt ist ohne Frage die berühmte Büste der Nofretete, die allein schon einen Besuch rechtfertigt. Viele der ausgestellten Objekte sind faszinierend, allerdings fehlt häufig der Kontext: Informationsschilder sind teils knapp, unvollständig oder gar nicht vorhanden. Auch ein klarer roter Faden durch die Ausstellung war für uns schwer erkennbar. Wir wechselten von ägyptischen Gräbern zu Troja und landeten anschliessend wieder in der Steinzeit. Besonders negativ aufgefallen ist das Museumspersonal. Wir wurden zunächst wegen einer Babytasche am Kinderwagen unverhältnismässig scharf zurechtgewiesen, später kam es zu einer lautstarken Auseinandersetzung zwischen einem Aufseher und einer Besucherin. Andere Bewertungen berichten von ähnlichen Erlebnissen. Hier besteht eindeutig Handlungsbedarf, vor allem in Bezug auf Freundlichkeit und Kundenservice.
Die Nofretete - und mehr!
Architektonisch und optisch eindrucksvolles Museum, das nicht nur (noch) die Büste der Nofretete und eine umfangreiche ägyptische Sammlung beheimatet, sondern auch einen schönen Blick auf die Historie der Gebäudes ermöglicht. Spannend auch der Zugang ins Museum über den Neubau der James-Simon-Galerie.

This was the last museum I visited. It's also the one I liked the most. There is more diversity spread over three different floors.
Ein Muss für Kulturinteressierte
Ein Juwel auf der Museumsinsel ,dass ein Muss ist für jeden Kunst- und Kulturinteressierten. Historische und moderne Architektur finden hier in perfekter Symbiose und bieten eine wunderbare Umgebung für die vielen wertvollen Kunstobjekte.
Excelente colección de arte egipcio y otras piezas prehistóricas, griegas y romanas.
Este gran museo se encuentra en la Isla de los Museos. Abrió sus puertas en el siglo XIX, sufrió serios daños durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial y volvió a abrir su exposición tras la restauración del edificio. Abre al público de martes a domingo entre las 10:00 y las 18:00, aunque los jueves cierra a las 20:00. Hay que pagar entrada, aunque a los menores de edad les sale gratis. Está permitido tomar fotos sin flash, salvo en algunas salas concretas como la del busto de Nefertiti, y la duración de la visita se puede alargar unas dos horas y media. Al entrar te puedes hacer sin coste añadido con una audioguía en tu idioma, al menos en castellano sí era posible, que resulta bastante útil porque los cartelitos explicativos no abundan ni ofrecen demasiada información. En el edificio, la exposición se distribuye en tres plantas, aunque se puede ir de una a otra utilizando ascensor, lo que facilita la visita a personas con problemas de movilidad. Hay una amplia selección de piezas del Egipto antiguo, y otras piezas prehistóricas y de la antigüedad. La pieza más famosa del museo es el Busto de Nefertiti, que preside una sala, y en ese mismo espacio hay una réplica del busto apropiada para que las personas ciegas puedan tocarla y hacerse una idea de la forma y volumen de esta célebre escultura. Los objetos están expuestos con espacio e iluminación suficientes para apreciarlos bien. El concepto de exposición museística es bastante similar al de los museos antiguos, ya que no hay pantallas táctiles ni videos explicativos como podemos encontrar en muchos museos actualmente. Es una visita muy recomendable para aficionados a la historia y al arte antiguo. No reservamos la entrada por internet con anterioridad a nuestra visita y no tuvimos que hacer cola ni había una cantidad excesiva de visitantes, pese a que era verano, así que entramos sin ningún contratiempo adquiriendo las entradas en taquilla. Personalmente disfruté mucho de este museo por las piezas que expone y por la forma en que lo hace. Hay una tienda en el museo que ofrece gran variedad de recuerdos a los visitantes, entre ellos, réplicas del busto de Nefertiti, además de postales y todo lo que suelen ofrecer este tipo de tiendas en museos.
Prioritize Museum Island
We went to all the museums on Museum Island and this was our first stop and glad it was because of the diversity of things to see. Research all the exhibitions at the museums and decide what you like as each one is different. Shops are closed on Sundays so museums are a great option. As with all the museums, there are not great food options and what exists is expensive. Eat first! We found customer service in Berlin to be poor and unfriendly. I hesitate to exaggerate but museum staff are rude.

Number one reason to visit the Neues Museum is the Egyptian exhibits including seeing the original Queen Nefertiti. Beyond the fantastic Egyptian exhibits, there are many additional excellent artifacts and exhibits including a German medieval gold hat (which was also a celestial calendar), a contemporaneous coin showing an image of Charlemagne, and much more. In some parts of the museum we encountered displays there were broken and displays that were simply empty. Time budget: 3-4 hours minimum Overall cleanliness: excellent Bathroom cleanliness: excellent WiFi: some areas had free WiFi, but it was spotty Unique gripe: At the Nefertiti exhibit, photographs near the exhibit were prohibited. Visitors had to stand about 20 to 25 feet away from the exhibit to take photos. Very odd. Misc: No water fountains or bottle filling stations.
Excellent musée
Très beau musée. Beaucoup de vestige de l'Égypte antique dont le buste de Nefertiti dans une pièce isolée la pièce maîtresse de ce musée. Également des pièces sur la bataille de Troie.
Doing much the same thing as the Altes, but a little better
Firstly, thank god for the cafe and the lovely waitress who provided me with coffee and cake, which was a surprisingly hard thing to find on Museum Island. I'm not exactly sure what the difference is supposed to be between the Altes Museum and the Neues Museum, as they seem to be doing very much the same thing. But the Neues struck me as the more interesting. The Nefertiti Bust is the highlight and it is presented very well in a room made to look a lot older than it probably is. I also liked the remarkable carving of Akhenaten and his Family very much. The museum in general is very well presented and, as with most museums in Berlin, almost deserted.
Beau musée et riche
Très chouette musée sur les collections égyptiennes Comptez environ 2h30/3h en prenant son temps pour parcourir les salles, avec audio guide (et sans forcément tout lire !) Attention par contre organisation du musée très confuse. On ne comprend pas bien le trajet à suivre c'est compliqué et pénible. Pour l'audio guide, le mieux est de taper le numéro en haut a droite en fonction du lieu où vous vous trouvez et non de suivre à la lettre car il n'y a pas de suite logique. La représentation du buste de Néfertiti est un moment intéressant un peu gâché par l'intervention du personnel qui interdit de sortir le téléphone (même pour répondre à un sms) et qui vous le fait savoir d'une facon détestable et impoli
Großartiges Museum der alten Geschichte
Das Museum ist Teil der Museumsinsel. Wir waren hauptsächlich wegen der Nofretete da. Sie wird wunderbar präsentiert und wir konnten sie ausführlich betrachten. Das Museum ist sehr besucherfreundlich gestaltet, man findet was man sucht. Die Präsentation ist hervorragend in der Zusammenstellung derExponate. Es werden auch neue Wege gegangen, z.B. die "Zeitmaschine" von Altstein- bis Bronzezeit.
A must-see in Berlin
The Neues Museum is an absolute must-see in Berlin! The collections are outstanding and well-presented, telling the story of art and history in an engaging way. The setup is modern yet respectful of the original architecture, creating a fascinating atmosphere. The Egyptian section, with the famous bust of Nefertiti, is simply breathtaking. Friendly staff and excellent organization. Highly recommended for anyone who loves history, archaeology, and great museums!
Imperdible
Uno de los grandes museos del mundo, especializado en colecciones egipcias. Hay muchisimo para ver, por eso recomiendo antes de ir, seleccionar bien lo que se quiere ver. Eso se hace facilmente visitando algunos blogs que hablan del tema. La estrella del museo es sin duda el busto de Nefertiti, al cual no se puede acercar mucho para sacar fotos o videos. Otras joyas son la Cabeza Verde de Berlin y el Sombrero de Oro.
Muy recomendable, visita imperdible
Espectacular la colección de piezas de diferentes períodos de la historia, neolítico, Egipto( por supuesto la pieza más reconocida el busto de Nefertiti) , romanos, época medieval e incluso los hallazgos en los restos de Berlín. En pocas horas se puede disfrutar de mucho. La audioguía en español es fácil y muy instructiva y las instalaciones del museo, junto con los trabajos de restauración del edificio, impresionan por la forma respetuosa que se le dio a este museo

Entramos en visita guiada, importante para no perderse nada. Hay que dejar mochilas. Lo más importante es ver el busto de Nefertiti. Es brutal verlo. Súper recomendable, no dejan hacer fotos desde cerca

Un grand moment... Gâché
Nous sommes allés dans ce musée spécialement pour admirer le buste de Néfertiti et notre visite a été gâchée par l'accueil du personnel qui n'est vraiment pas aimable que ce soit au guichet, à l'accueil, aux audio guides, au vestiaire ou encore les gardiens notamment une matrone intolérante qui s' est montrée très désagréable voire agressive au motif que j'avais mon téléphone en main alors que les photos (autorisées à l'entrée de la salle) sont interdites dans l'espace dédié à Néfertiti ! Bien évidemment j'ai pour habitude de respecter les règles : cette réaction est donc tout à fait disproportionnée et malvenue Ces personnes en nombre pourtant pléthorique ne devraient pas être aussi stressées... Mis à part cette ambiance délétère les collections sont, comme de juste, d'une grande qualité

Absolutely worth the visit! The Neues Museum is beautifully curated, but the true highlight is the breathtaking bust of Nefertiti — so lifelike and elegant, it genuinely stops you in your tracks. A must-see for anyone interested in ancient history and timeless artistry.
Great museum
Great exhibition and layout with good information and audio guide included in the entrance fee, sadly the only thing that let them down was the cafe server who couldn’t be bothered with us even after asking to take our order and taking orders from other tables who arrived after us.
THE NEFITITI BUST IS A MUST SEE
This is a lovely museum that houses some lovely works of art from sculptures to artefacts and more. Pride of place is the bust of Nefititi which to be honest is the only reason why I came here. It's housed within an 8' glass cabinet and although photos are allowed, you can only take them from the front and the right hand side of the bust and from a distance of 20' away. As you can imagine, it's impossible to get one of the bust without getting someone in your photo too as there's so many people looking at it all the time. The best time to come here is the minute it opens and then head to the bust before anyone gets there. The bust is spectacular to see as you would expect and it wasn't as large as I expected it to be. It has lovely colouring on it and curiously the left eye is missing. There's obvious signs of wear and tear on it but that makes it all the more authentic. Although I didn't go to see anything else, I did have to pass lots of different things making my way to the bust...and there's lots to see. Wonderful exhibition that unfortunately for me had time constraints.

The museum itself is quite large, with lots of exhibits, the one that stands out is for sure the Egyptian museum with its crown jewel, the bust of Nefertiti The rest of the Egyptian museum is not to be underestimated though! It’s is full of amazing artifacts and statues, even a deconstructed burial chamber The rest of the museum is great as well, the museum as a whole is simply amazing

The museum is amazing. A great option to learn about the Ancient Egypt. It was really well organized. The ticket purchasing experience was really fast. Definitely recommended!!
Fascinating
We spent 90mins just covering 2 of the floors of this museum. I didn’t expect to be so impressed thinking I’d seen it all at the British museum years ago… I was wrong! Although sad that all this Egyptian history has been removed from its country of origin I found the collection fascinating. I can understand how people of the early 20th century became obsessed with Egypt. The collection had large boulders with picture and hieroglyphic engravings, carved heads of gods, and kings- including a breathtaking one of Nefertiti. There also roman and greek collections, and impressive collections of bronze age and earlier tools, jewellery and kitchen utensils. As i said - this was only two floors!! The actual museum building (restored following bombing in WWII) was amazing too!
Huge and impressive
We only had time to visit one of the museums on Museum Island and chose this one. We were most excited to see the statue of Nefertiti, which was indeed impressive. But we also enjoyed the many other sights and artifacts that we saw here. We spent time in each of the sections of the museum, including the Stone Age/prehistory area, the Egyptian Collection (including Nefertiti), and artifacts from the lost city of Troy. We pre-purchased timed tickets for the museum, which was nice since we were able to enter right away, although a little stressful since we only had a 15 minute window to enter and had to make sure we arrived on time from our other sightseeing. Overall we spent 2 hours here and got a good overview and chance to see just about everything, although we could have easily spent more time if we had it listening to more information from the very good audio guide.
Wonderful show, unwelcoming staff
Spent more than half a day to visit the museum well. Surely the special guest was to see Nefertiti. It was definitely worth it, it was a unique experience Coming from the ancient cultural city for excellence Rome, I have to admit that this museum really has everything to compete with the Vatican museums. Many congratulations! Only observation that makes a big difference in terms of the memory of the experience: some (luckily there were few) corridor and hall controllers were really really not inclined to deal with the public as they were quite intolerant and didn't even speak English For a huge and important museum as this fact is a pity!
Nefertiti’s Bust - unmissable!!
Highlight of my visit to Berlin - I love anything related to the pharaohs and the collection here of Egyptian artifacts is incredible. Pride of place goes to the famous bust of Nefertiti - absolutely exquisite - photos do not do it justice! Had to do a double back just to see her again - just stunning!!
