Due to the coronavirus, we had to close our doors for a time in both 2020 and 2021. We and all attractions in the city spend that time working and preparing to reopen in the safest way possible. Please keep in mind that, for the time being, all attractions and activities are subject to the necessary restrictions to protect your health and the health of our beloved colleagues.
We are excited to welcome you again! Therefore, we want to share with you a few tips and some of the measures we took in order to reassure you so you can enjoy your experience with us to the fullest.
If you still have some questions after reading the information below, please feel free to contact us (email@example.com). We will be more than happy to help!
Is it safe for me to visit a museum/attraction or join one of the activities available?
Yes, the safety of our guests and colleagues is essential to us. We want you to fully enjoy your experience, that is why we are strictly following the safety and hygiene guidelines from the Dutch government. Our colleagues at the different locations are well aware of the current rules and protocols and will help you and guide you during your visit.
What safety measures are being used to make sure my visit is as safe as possible?
As mentioned before, all our attractions and venues are subject to the necessary restrictions. Hereby you can think of restrictions on the number of guests allowed on the venue/activity (reduced groups) at the same time, but also about the fact that tickets must be purchased in advance and with a time slot. It is also mandatory to wear a mask when inside an attraction. These restrictions will help us to prevent crowds and to protect our guests and colleagues from coronavirus.
Do I need a COVID-19 Certificate to enter any attractions?
As of 25 September 2021 entry to some attractions, or part of attractions, will require everyone over the age of 12 to show a COVID-19 Certificate with a negative test result (no older than 24 hours), proof of vaccination or proof of recovery. Whether a venue requires this certificate can be found on the product page. For more information about the COVID-19 Certificate please visit this website from the Dutch government.
What can I do or visit in Amsterdam?
Most of the attractions we offer have reopened their doors again, including: Ripley's Believe it or not, Body Worlds, Red Light Secrets, and the Amsterdam Icebar, among many other venues in the city. It is also again possible to join one of the city’s famous cruises and sail the beautiful canals of Amsterdam. Please check the product pages on the website for further information about the attractions and other activities. If you still have any questions, please send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Where can I get local information about the activities I can do in the city in a safe way?
You can always reach out to us by sending an email to email@example.com. If you are already in the city, you can visit one of the Tours & Tickets shops. We will be more than happy to answer your questions and assist you in the best way we can.
I would like to visit a venue with a group/school, is this possible?
Due to safety reasons, that will depend on the size of the group. Please keep in mind that due to the restrictions implemented to stop the spread of coronavirus, if you travel with a big group, at some venues there is no option to enter at the same time. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for any group enquires.
Can I cancel and get a refund for my tickets?
If you purchased your tickets via a 3rd party (such as Groupon, Actie van de dag, Vakantieveiligen, etc.) we kindly ask you to get in touch with them for a cancelation.
When purchased on our website, the following tickets can be cancelled up to 8 hours before the start of the activity: Amsterdam Icebar, Red Light Secrets, Ripley's Believe it or not, Body Worlds, 1-hour Canal Cruise, and Semi-Open Boat Cruise.
For the all the other activities and attractions the cancelation policy differs per product, which is usually mentioned on the product page. In order to reschedule or request a refund, please send us an email via email@example.com with a copy of your tickets.
I already have a reservation, but I am not certain if I can attend. What can I do?
Please send us an email with your tickets attached, so we can find a suitable alternative for you.
I have an open ticket (without a specific date and time for the visit), do I need to make a reservation?
If a new ticket for the attraction requires you to schedule a date and time, yes, it is necessary to make a reservation before your visit. To select your preferred date and time, you can either email us (with a copy of your tickets and your preferred date and time for your visit) or go to the Tours and Tickets shop located at Damrak 26 (3-minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station).
Please note, the booking will be subjected to availability, and it is necessary to bring your open ticket/voucher.
I already have a ticket/voucher purchased with another company (such as Groupon, Vakantieveilingen, Actie van de dag, etc.) without a specific date and time for the visit, do I need to make a reservation?
If a new ticket requires you to schedule your visit, then yes, even when you purchased a ticket with a different company, you also need to make a reservation. To select your preferred date and time, please follow the instructions on the voucher you have received.
For most of the promotions, you will receive one voucher per person. Each voucher contains one discount code normally located under the barcode.
To place the order, select the number of tickets for the date and time you would like to visit and fill in the mentioned codes on the checkout page by clicking the button: I have a discount code.
For any questions please send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with a copy of your vouchers.
How do I know the availability of the venue/activity I would like to visit/join?
You can see the availability of each one of the activities we offer on our website. You only have to select a date in the calendar, and the website will show you how many tickets are available for each timeslot. If an activity/venue is still not operating, there will be no availability and/or it will be stated on the product page.
I would like to pay in cash, is this still an option?
For safety reasons, we highly recommend the online booking or payment by card. However, in our shops it is still possible to pay by cash.
If I have some symptoms or I am feeling unwell, should I join the visit anyway?
No, we kindly ask you to contact us, so we can reschedule your visit for a later date. We will be glad to welcome you once you are fully recovered.
