Informativ und schön
Wir hatten einen super symphatischen Bootsführer der viele Nebeninfos gab. War schön und informativ. 1 Stunde hat gut gereicht und empfehlenswert. Gute Karte erhalten für den Treffpunkt und pünktlich, sowie sauber.
Tolle Tour
Die Stunde waren zwar nur ca. 50 Minuten, aber die Tour war wunderschön. Unbedingt abends machen, die Atmosphäre ist unbeschreiblich!

Amsterdam City River Cruise
The canal cruise was perfect, the captin come guide gave us headphones to listen in our own language. The riverboat was clean and tidy, easy to walk on and off, it was a nice day and we got some beautiful pictures!! A great end to a fantastic tourist holiday!!
Early evening cruise
We did the early evening cruise to see the lights of the city. Easy to get tickets by turning up and allocated the next cruise. There is an audio link that you can use, but we decided to just sit outside and watch the views. An hour cruise which was interesting and pretty.
Great information finding cruise
We had an hour cruise around the canals in Amsterdam and learnt a lot whilst doing it. We really enjoyed every second. My five year old didn’t want to get off. The captain was also very knowledgeable.

La promenade sur les canaux dure une heure. Les audio guides permettent de suivre les commentaires dans différentes langues. Le long de cette promenade fluviale, nous découvrons l'histoire de la ville et des monuments "célèbres". Par contre, le confort est rudimentaire.

A fab way to see Amsterdam
We had a really lovely time on the one-hour canal cruise. Our captain was very lovely and cracked a good few jokes throughout the tour. The GPS guided tour via the headphones was a fab idea and there were so many language options available which was a really pleasant surprise. We learned so much about the history of the city and the tour even helped us to find places to visit again in further detail after the tour. The price was extremely reasonable considering the excellent experience we got, and our boat even left a little early which was nice. All in all, we would definitely recommend it!
The captian made the experience
We really enjoyed it. We show I I amsterdam cards at the ticket office ans were on a boat and on our way within 10 minutes. Our captain (Tony I believe was his name) was lovely ,cheerful and very knowledge of the area, he also had 2 traniees with him and they were also lovely. The facilties were clean. If I hadn't have had the I amsterdam card I would have still paid what the price was (which I think is reasonable).

Go with Lovers
Booked through Get Your Guide literally 20 mins before boarding. They let us join a boat that was boarding as soon as we got there, which was great, no standing around as they weren’t so busy. We took a daytime trip and glad we did. Maybe evening cruises would be better in warmer months with open boats. The boat was modern, clean and warm and no condensation at all during any part of our cruise. The headphones were included and the audio commentary was interesting. The captain also added bits and pieces of extra info which was appreciated. It was a great introduction to the canals of Amsterdam as we decided to do this trip literally an hour after arriving in Amsterdam. It helped us with our bearings and with general historical info about the city. The reason for 4 rather than 5 stars is that we seemed to stay on one canal, no museums seen, no Anne Frank house, nothing like that, which was a shame as lots of tourists probably visit these places afterwards. Maybe the canal boat starting from the museums area take that route? We took the one from the station. There are lots of canal boat companies, but we were more than happy with Lovers as their boats appear a lot more modern than many others we saw. I would definitely recommend the cruise and my teenage daughter said it was one of the nicest things we did when in Amsterdam.

A amazing tour with some great canal boat skills performed and a great host. This tour is very much for couples and being alone I felt a little out of place.
A Great Way To See The City
Done the open boat tour during the summer. A great way to see the city and the audio guide gave plenty of information along the way. Extremely relaxing to the point I almost fell asleep half way around. Would definitely do the tour again if I’m back in Amsterdam

Guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Although it rained, I still enjoyed the tour. The only complaint was the audio was difficult to hear at times.

Ein kulturelles Highlight
Für uns eines der besten Museen. Nicht überladen, ausgewählte Stücke. Dafür logisch angeordnet und gut erklärt Nicht was man sieht, sondern was den Künstler oder das Werk zu einer Besonderheit macht. Man wird, besonders mit der Gratis-App auf extrem interessante Details hingewiesen. Damit wird das Betrachten eines Kunstwerks auch für "Laien" ein lehrreiches Erlebnis.
Eindrucksvolles Kunstmuseum
Ein schönes Kunstmuseum in einem eindrucksvollem Gebäude. Es gibt Kunstwerke aus verschiedenen Epochen und man sollte, je nach Interessen und Andrang, ca. 4-5 Stunden für den Besuch einplanen. Leider war bei unserem Besuch der Ansturm auf das Selbstporträt von van Gogh und die Milchmagd von Vermeer so groß, das man sich die Bilder nicht aus der Nähe ansehen konnte. Hier wäre eine etwas andere Organisation sehr schön gewesen. Die Gaderobe ist kostenlos, wenn man bereit ist etwas zu warten. Das Museumscafe ist ebenfalls in Ordnung.
Tolles Museum
Ein wunderschönes Gebäude und Museum. Die Sammlungen sind wirklich atemberaubend, von berühmten Gemälden hin zu Vasen und Mobiliar, und auch moderner Kunst. Die Nachtwache von Rembrandt hat mir die Sprache verschlagen. Man kann hier locker einen halben Tag verbringen. Absolut empfehlenswert.
Einzigartig
Das Museum ist das Schlangestehen wert. Sowohl das Gebäude per se als auch die ausgestellten Gemälde sind von einer überwältigenden Einzigartigkeit. Die Sammlung alter Meister sucht seinesgleichen und die Bibliothek zählt nach meinem Dafürhalten zu den aussergewöhnlichsten Locations Amsterdams. Aufgrund der schieren Grösse sollte man sich Minimum einen, besser zwei Tage im Museum gönnen. Die Sonderausstellungen sprechen darüber hinaus für sich selbst. Absolutes Muss eines Amsterdam-Bescuhes

Hier gibt es nicht viel zu sagen. Das Museum und die Exponate sind wirklich fantastisch. Auch als Rollstuhlfahrer topp ausgebaut.
Sehr großes Museum
Das Museum ist wirklich toll und die Angestellten sehr nett. Man kann leider nicht alles an einem Tag besichtigen, da es so viel zu entdecken gibt. Die Kunstausstellung hat sehr bekannte Künstler, zum Beispiel van Gogh. Definitiv einen Besuch wert!
Fantastisch
Einlass auch vor dem gebuchten Zeitfenster möglich, Servicepersonal ausgesprochen höflich und hilfsbereit. Ausstellung fantastisch konzipiert. Rembrandt's Nachtwache wird die kommenden fünf Jahre restauriert, aber selbst das ist sehenswert ! Aktuell läuft ein Mal Wettbewerb für Kinder, wo man Donald Duck und seine Familie als berühmte Gemälde darstellt.
Es wird irgendwann schon echt viel...aber unglaublich bereichernd!
Als erstes muss hier die Schönheit der Architektur des Gebäudes betont werden. Vor allem am Abend ein echtes Highlight! Im Museum selbst arbeitet man sich unten von historischen Quellen hoch zu Gemälden durch. Das macht auch gewisse Freude, doch ich habe igrendwann gemerkt, dass es zu "viel" wurde und man einigen Gemälden nur noch bedingt die Aufmerksamkeit schenken konnte, die sie hätten verdient. Die Nachtwache am Ende war natürlich das krönende Ende. Ich selbst empfand auch auch die Bibliothek unglaublich bereichernd und einzigartig ästhetisch. Der Blick darauf hatte etwas Magisches! Alles in allem muss man natürlich das Museum besuchen. Planen Sie wirklich viel Zeit ein. Es ist das Geld mehr als wert!
Kunst und Geschichte pur
Überwältigendes Museum mit bekannten und weniger bekannten (aber nicht weniger beeindruckenden) Kunstwerken aus mehreren Jahrhunderten. Man sieht nicht nur viele berühmte Bilder, sondern erfährt auch viel Wissenswertes über die Niederländische Geschichte.

Ein tolles Museum und eine super APP, die die Geschichte fast jeden Gegenstandes erklärt. Für Kinder könnte mehr geboten werden, damit sie mehr Interesse an Kunst entwickeln können.
Das viel mehr als Rembrandt-Museum
Zumeist beginnen wir die Besichtigung in einem neuen Museum zuoberst: wir nehmen den Lift nach oben und arbeiten uns durch die Stockwerke nach unten. So waren wir überrascht, dass zuoberst keine Gemälde, sondern allerlei aus dem Zeitraum 1900 bis 2000 ausgestellt war: vom Flugzeug, über ikonische Möbel bis zum KZ-Kleid aus schrecklicher Zeit. In der zweiten Etage (1600 bis 1700) dann das, war wir erwarteten, die berühmten Gemälde. In 28 Sälen die "normalen" Bilder , in der Mitte des Gebäudes, in der "Eregalerij", die berühmten Holländer. Ganz pointiert, die "Nachtwacht" von Rembrandt, die sich gerade in Restauration befand. Stockwerk 1 dann 1700 bis 1900, was wir dann nicht mehr aufnehmen konnten und Stockwerk 0 mit "Special Collections" mit Waffen, Schiffsmodellen etc. Alles in allem also so viel Ausstellungsmaterial, das man bei einem Besuch gar nicht aufnehmen kann. Deshalb nehmen Sie beim Empfang einen Plattegrond und suchen Sie gezielt, was Ihnen gefallen könnte - neben der Ehrengalerie ...

Sehr umfangreiches Museum. Eigentlich alles aus der Zeit von 1600 bis 2000. Viele Gemälde, Kunstmöbel, Schmuck, alte Waffen, Dekorations- und Prestigeobjekte.
Was ist Amsterdam ohne das Rijksmuseum?
Das Museum ist ein absolutes Highlight. Die Erklärungen zu den Bildern sind kurz und eingängig. - Man bietet Gruppen von Kindern ein besonderes Erlebnis. Erfahrene Leute vermitteln Kindern einen Zugang zu den Bildern. So erreicht man, dass Kinder auch als Erwachsene ein Museum besuchen. Die Ausschilderung auf den Straßen könnte besser sein.
Ein Kunstgenuss…
Tolles Museum! Schon das Gebäude ist sehr schön. Die Ausstellung absolut sehenswert. Rembrandt und Van Gogh verursachen schon Ehrfurcht vor der Kunst. Zu empfehlen ist es Tickets online vorab zu buchen. Ansonsten alles top!
Must-See in Amsterdam
Weitläufig und abwechslungsreich. Gute Gemäldesammlung und wer ein Fan von baroquen Möbeln ist, wie ich, kommt auch auf seine Kosten. Definitiv 3-4 Stunden einplanen.
Eines der besten Kunstmuseen
Wer die alten Meister liebt, muss dieses Museum besucht haben. Tolle Ausstellungsräume. Da das Haus sehr gross ist, würde ich sicher 1/2 Tag für den Besuch einplanen. So kann man gemütlich und in Ruhe die Bilder geniessen. Tip. Ticket vorher kaufen und unter der Woche am besten am Morgen bei Öffnung gehen. So kann man den Massen ausweichen. Ansonsten, eines der besten Kunstmuseen, welche ich schon besucht habe.
Rijksmuseum Amsterdam
Das Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam ist sehr groß und schon von außen sehr sehenswert. Im Museum findet man zahlreiche Gemälde, Modelle und andere Kunst. In diesem Museum kann man alte Kunst sehen oder auch moderne Kunst. Ich habe das Museum sehr interessant gefunden da man für fast jede Art von Kunst etwas zu sehen hatte und es einem der sich für Kunst interessiert definitiv nicht langweilig wird. Doch das Museum ist so groß das man für einen Rundgang im kompletten Museum 2-3 Stunden braucht.
Hat viel zu bieten
Das Museum ist sehr groß und hat viele verschiedene Sachen zu bieten. Wenn man nur grob über die Ausstellungen schaut braucht man ca. 3 h. Ich empfehle vormittags zu kommen.
So soll ein Museum sein
Nach zehnjährigen Umbauarbeiten wurde das Rijksmuseum 2013 wiedereröffnet. Das Reservieren eines Zugangs-Timeslots für das holländische Nationalmuseum ist einfach, mit meiner I amsterdam Citycard habe ich freien Eintritt. Für Taschen und Kleidung gibt es eine bewachte Garderobe oder Schließfächer. Ungewöhnlich für ein derart renommiertes Haus: Die Toiletten sind bereits am frühen Morgen völlig verdreckt, und teilweise defekt. Was auf der Website etwas unübersichtlich wirkt, löst sich vor Ort schnell auf: Mit Hilfe der Rijksmuseum-App (Pro Tipps: Headset nicht vergessen, Flugmodus und museumseigenes WLAN nutzen) kann der Besucher die immense Vielfalt des Hauses in Eigenregie, oder mittels verschiedener Touren, entdecken. Jedes Exponat verfügt über informative Kurzbeschreibungen in Holländisch und Englisch. Darüber hinaus verteilt diese non-lineare Besucherführung auch größere Besuchermengen recht gut über die 14.500 Quadratmeter Ausstellungsfläche - selbst Highlights wie "De Nachtwacht" sind gut zugänglich. Dass die Exponate nicht nach Kunstrichtung, sondern nach Epochen zusammengestellt sind, macht den besonderen Charme des Rijksmuseums aus. Gemälde, Skulpturen und Kunsthandwerk der jeweiligen Zeit werden nebeneinander präsentiert. Ein exzellentes Belüftungssystem erlaubt auch längere Aufenthalte ohne sauerstoffmangelbedingte Ermüdungserscheinungen, wie ich sie ansonsten oft in Museen erlebe. Die Zeit, unterbrochen von Versorgungs-Stopps im hervorragenden Museumscafé, vergeht wie im Flug. Nach mehr als 6 Stunden habe ich viel, aber noch längst nicht alles gesehen. Absolut sehenswert
Das Rijksmuseum bedarf meherer Besuche, es gibt dermaßen viel zu sehen, dass man nach zwei Stunden nicht mehr aufnahmefähig ist. - Also immer wieder einen neuen Besuch wert. Durch die Eintrittsregelung zu bestimmten Zeiten, ist es zwar voll, aber nicht zu voll. - Eine Führung lohnt sich auf jeden Fall, wenn man zum ersten Mal dort ist.
Vermeer – eine großartige Ausstellung
Anfang Juni besuchten wir die herausragende Vermeer-Ausstellung an drei aufeinander folgenden Tagen. Aber das Rijksmuseum hat noch weitere interessante Gemälde für den Kunstinteressierten: Rembrandt (die Nachtwache wird gerade restauriert) u.a., van Gogh, Jan Scorel, Wir kauften einen Friendship-Pass für 75 € und konnten mit zwei Personen ohne Wartezeit in die Ausstellung gehen und zwar für ein ganzes Jahr. Wir besuchten das Rijksmuseum an drei Tagen. Die Vermeer-Ausstellung ist abgelaufen. Es wurde nach der Ausstellung ein Vermeersaal mit sechs ständigen Bildern eingerichtet. Das Museums-Café können wir empfehlen. Parken kann man im APCOA Parkhaus Heinekenplein für 20 €/Tag mit Park-Card, 7 Gehminuten vom Museum entfernt.
Ein tolles Museum, für beide Kunstfans und keine Kunstfans
Ein sehr schönes Museum, viele Meisterstücke aber gemütlich. Die Erklärungen auf die Wände oder auf dem Papier sind kurz und interessant. Die Karten lieber online vorher zu kaufen. Wir hatten Glück, zusätzliche Karten für Vermeer Ausstellung drin im Museum zu kaufen. 30 Minuten in der Schlange zu warten hat sich vollig rentiert, da die Ausstellung wirklich toll ist!
Vermeer im Rijksmuseum- ein Genuss!

The Rijksmuseum is an absolute must visit. We met friends in Amsterdam after a Rhine river cruise and enjoyed a perfect half day touring the wonderful art and historical displays. One word of warning if buying tickets on their website. The calendar for selecting the day of your visit begins with Monday- NOT Sunday! I did not have my glasses on and booked tickets for the day before our visit. It was good for a laugh and extra contribution as they don't do refunds.
Powerful and Memorable
The whole experience is extremely wonderful, seeing so many beautiful artworks but the is the Rembrandt's Night Watch that stole our hearts. It is just spectacular and so vivid that it burns right through your eyes and you can never forget it. We were so impressed by the visit that we want to do another one soon.
Historic but limited scope
Rijksmuseum is the national museum of the Netherlands dedicated to Dutch arts, and as expected the offerings are largely Renaissance with a smattering of modernity. Unfortunate that Rembrandt's Night Watch is currently being restored, but glad the museum left it at least partially visible.

Bel museo che racconta la storia dell’arte olandese e quindi dell’Olanda stessa. Bravissima la guida italiana. Purtroppo la Ronda di Notte é chiusa dietro un vetro e là si può ammirare solo da lontano. Mi sarei aspettato più opere del secolo d’oro. Ci sono per esempio meno quadri di quanto mi aspettassi di Vermeer.

Uno de mis museos favoritos. Me encantó!!!! Obvio que mucha obra quackera. Sus porcelanas de Delf. Fui 2 veces porque no queria perderme (en lo posible) nada. Me gusta tomar o almorzar algo en los cafés de los museos. Este es muyyy moderno. Y del shop ni hablar, queria traerme todo de recuerdo

What a place!!!! Entered around 12.30 and grabbed a bite to eat at their restaurant.What a lovely meal it was to! Set us up nicely for a very long slow stroll around Not too busy or hot, an amazing building in itself mevermind the beautiful artwork. Absolutely loved every minuit of it! Defo recommend!!
Don't miss it
This was my third visit in 10 years. It's a wonderful museum. Do grab an audio tour set. You won't be disappointed. And if you're there between July 13 and September 14, 2025, be sure to see Fiona Tan's show Monomania...one of the best and most interesting multimedia shows I've seen in a very long time. For context, I live in NYC and close to Santa Fe.
A beautiful labyrinth
This museum reminds me of the Louvre in the sense that it’s very big, I never know where I’m going and how to get to the start of an exhibition and I am constantly terrified of going through the wrong door and accidentally leaving the museum. Other than that it was beautiful, if a bit overcrowded. This place is a bit of a maze so if you’re unsure of where to go ask for help. There are tons of lockers and even a cloackroom. There are many bathrooms and elevators to get to where you’re wanting to go. All in all it’s a beautiful museum, if a bit confusing. It has beautiful art pieces and with the European Youth Card I got a reduced price for the entry which is was very happy about.
Can't wait to return
Rembrandt. I saw The Night Watch behind glass still fantastic. I think they were working on it because of the scaffolding. Van Gogh, everything was spectacular. Wear your track shoes and the interactive system needs refining. Overall. Beautiful.

A Must-Visit for Art Lovers – Stunning Masterpieces!

Don’t miss this museum . Worth the money
We are so pleased we prioritized this museum during our 3 day visit to Amsterdam. We thoroughly enjoyed it and learned a lot about Dutch artists and history. Our favorite was seeing the Night watch by Rembrandt under restoration. It was fascinating to watch the restoration artists at work. The building itself is also interesting. A few tips: 1. Book to go early. We went at 9am and the crowds were greater by 11am 2. Download the app and take earbuds. It helps you navigate and makes for a more engaging experience 3. Allow st least 2 hrs. We were there for 3 hrs.

En regnig söndag valde vi att gå på Rijksmuseum. Trodde det skulle vara jättelånga köer men kom in förvånansvärt fort. Mycket att titta på, och timmarna gick fort.
Amazing History of the Netherlands Awaits You Here
I visited with family and friends on the recommendation of a colleague. I had no idea what to expect. The museum is actually overwhelming because there is so much there. You really need more than one visit to take it all in. You definitely get a comprehensive view of Dutch history when you visit. The building itself is beautiful, and the exhibits are great. There are stunning stained glass windows in the great hall.
Great bit of culture to balance less cultural activities in Amsterdam
We went a little late in the day at 3.30 to find it shut at 5pm. It was worth going to see the iconic paintings. Well worth a trip. Free lockers which which was helpful.
Great for a rainy day
If you get there early enough, you’ll be able to cruise along all the rooms with tranquility. For people like me, who get tired easily, you will be glad to hear that there is plenty of seating for you to rest your legs. We had a few drinks and some bitterballen at the cafe and had a great time & took nice pics.
An Amsterdam must do!
Really enjoyed my visit to the Netherlands' most visited museum. A lot of visitors make a straight beeline to this world famous museum and it's easy to see why. You get to see the most renowned works from the world renowned Dutch Masters. If you really appreciate art, you'll probably need about half a day at least to fully take in the contrasting amounts of works. I saw the majority of the works in the three hours I had but I ending missing the Asian Pavillion, but I did see the highlights including Rembrandt van Rijn's Night Watch(under renovation at the time of this review, I was just grateful enough to see it) and Johannes Vermeer's Milkmaid. Try and get there as early as you can, as it is well busier in the afternoon. But if you book online as I did, you are given an hour's slot to make it to the museum. Visited the cafe too and whilst service can be a little slow the busier it gets, it is a fine way to rest weary legs and recharge and despite the prices, is a little less pricier than the restaurant, but I did visit on a Monday when the Rijks restaurant is closed. Shop moderately priced too. I didn't have time to pay a visit to the gardens, but they're free to visit anytime when the museum is open. Thoroughly recommend going round at your own pace, either by downloading the Rijksmuseum app or by spending €6.50(at the time of review) hiring an audio guide. You have more time to appreciate the works than any tour guide can give you. On selected works you simply type in the number provided into the app or screen and you get a personal commentary Can't recommend the Rijksmuseum enough when coming to Amsterdam
Excellent
Second visit to this hugely popular museum with a massive collection of exhibits on display over four levels. Along with the gift shop and cafe this is a great place to spend a few hours. You’ll need more than a day to fully appreciate the whole collection as after two separate visits, one all day and one just a third of a day, I still haven’t fully seen all of the first floor. Helemaal de moeite waard!
Goede ervaring. Van nature nou niet een kunstliefhebber. Maar ik wilde werken van de grote Nederlandse kunstschilders eens zien. Een enorme verzameling in het Rijksmuseum, waar je zeker minimaal 2-3 uur voor kunt uittrekken om het rustig maar gestaag te doorlopen. Het is het entreegeld méér dan waard. Tijdens het zien van de schilderijen leer je ook nog over de NL-geschiedenis met de teksten die erbij staan.
Worth a stop during your visit!
Caught the train from city center to visit a local market. We were close enough to walk to Rijks to check it out as well. I strongly suggest buying tickets online in advance to make entry easier. Buying tickets on site is just from people standing outside no true ticket booths or anything. The interior layout is not what I expect from a museum. Most places have a layout that promotes walking in an order to see everything. Here it is easy to miss exhibits if you don't check every nook and cranny of a floor. If your into art this museum will probably be amazing. I am not into art though and just wanted the experience. I would not suggest the attached cafe for food. Service wasn't great, food was very overpriced and sub par.
Highly Recommend
Rembrandt and Van Gogh. How could you go wrong? Broad range of art and artifacts very well presented. I have now managed to knock off several of the world’s greatest art museums and the Rijksmuseum is among the best.
Glad we finally visited.
We went early morning to Rijksmuseum, it was so busy with school trips waiting to go in which seem to take priority other others who jumped the queue. Not sure if that is standard practice but we didn't mind waiting as it wasn't for long. Security check bags going in and they were really friendly. Lockers are provided for rucksacks. The toilets are clean and tidy. We tried to take the lift to the top floor and work our way down but it was busy so we gave up waiting and climbed the stairs. The whole museum is so clean and tidy, with places to sit and rest. My favourite of all the exhibitions were Operation Night Watch and the papercuts! I used to do papercutting years ago as a hobby and never realised its hundreds of years old! I'm glad we finally managed to visit after trying twice on previous trips.
Amazing museum
What a fabulous museum. It is huge so wear comfortable shoes. Stairs and lifts are available and good clean toilet facilities which is so important to many. So much art on display, you could spend hours and hours in the museum. We purchased our tickets in advance so we had our entry time booked. I would recommend buying in advance as it can get very busy, you can't really just turn up or you may have a long wait for the next available entry time. There are lovely gardens attached to the museum and a wonderful fountain. There is shade/cover available in the garden for hot or wet days. Places to eat and get a drink are next to the gardens. There is a cafe inside the museum but there were very long queues for it.
Art, History, and a Little Restoration Dust
I went to the Rijksmuseum with friends, and it really impressed us. The building is stunning, and the collection takes you through centuries of Dutch art and history. The Night Watch was a major highlight, though it was partially blocked off due to restoration. You could still see it behind glass, which was interesting, but it took away a bit of the impact. Even so, the museum is full of amazing works, and there's so much to explore. Definitely worth a visit.

I am normally not a fan of art museums. I like something more active. This museum was amazing. We could have spent several days here! We used the app for our tour. It was very frustrating to figure out how to use it and where to go at first. Eventually we figured it out and it was very useful. Especially if you have limited time. We ate lunch in the restaurant. It was very good.
Very Enjoyable
This museum is great. When we walked up to the building we were impressed with the design, the building is really large and special. We did have a bit of a wait, standing in line for a while and then not sure where to go with our pre-paid tickets. When we got inside we found it to be well organized and staff knowledgeable. We saw a variety of things to see. Of course the art but also unique statues, glassware and many interesting items. We saw the cafe, it looked very nice. We didn’t have lunch, but I would not hesitate to try it. It was very busy, so maybe reservations if they take them would be worthwhile. No one wants to have to wait a long time for lunch especially with so much to see in the museum. We enjoyed it. It was April, so not as busy a summer, but a line to get in nonetheless. Getting advance tickets would be a good idea.
