Good day out, smaller park than expected. Very traditional and quaint to visit, just about took a few hours but not really a full day for the entry price. A few rides and gardens to walk around, would be best at night

We stayed at Villa Copenhagen hotel which is right across the street from Tivoli, in fact we could see a ride from our room. Founded in 1843, the park and amusement park is the 2nd oldest amusement park in the world. My husband wanted to see it. We bought the pass that gave us the ability to walk around and see the shows, but not ride the rides. You can get an unlimited pass for rides as well. For kids, the rides are great plus for thrill rides, one roller coaster with a small loop, some that dropped you straight down and spun you around. We went in the evening before the sunset, so we could see everything in the light and then when the lights would come on. The pond, gardens and flowers especially the purple hyacinth (never realized how amazing and sweet they smell) were really lovely to walk around on the flat and meandering paths. We had a good time watching others scream on the rides and watched a show. It was a pretty, well maintained, and safe feeling park. What stood out to me was the number of restaurants inside, some quite expensive. This is definitely a place to come and eat. For the Tivoli Food Hall, make sure you get your hand stamped before you exit the park if you want to get back in. Also, you can enter the Food Hall from the street without paying park admission. They had has about 16 places to buy food, and more were reasonably priced than the restaurants inside - more of fast food with limited seating. We got the pasta which was good.

Absolutely love this place, would highly recommend it. So beautiful and there’s something for everyone to enjoy. We took our 2 year old and we all loved it.

We stayed across the road from Tivoli and could hear music so googled to find Saint Clara was playing. Absolutely lucky we checked it out as ended up seeing the concert and had time to wander around the park. Park was a small theme park with so many restaurants albeit not sure if you'd have to pay entrance to try the restaurants still?

A must visit in Copenhagen. We didn't go on any of the rides but enjoyed walking around the gardens and having the very best hot chocolate.

Such a charming and delightful amusement park in the heart of Copenhagen! Kids had a blast on the rides (some are more intense than they appear), gardens are beautiful and lots of fun food and shopping options. Highly recommend!

We had a super day at Tivoli today. We weren’t sure what to expect with the mixed reviews but we loved it. It has a lovely charm about it . Beautiful displays of flowers in relax gardens mixed in a good selection of rides. There are lots of places to eat. We had lunch at Wagamamas a few extra dishes to the UK menu but same good quality. Also a tasty pizza at La Vecchia Italia. The park and facilities are all kept very clean . There are many friendly park wardens walking around who are happy to help. We watched the Ballet Pantomime at the peacock theatre. Very high quality . It’s a very different theme park to Disneyland or Legoland . We found it much much relaxing but still very engaging. As it gets darker the park lights up wonderfully. If you stay for the light show the bridge looking towards Hans Christian Andersen Boulveard has the best view. It’s was on for ten minutes. The location is brilliant it’s right in the centre of Copenhagen next to the main square. Would recommended for all ages.

There is a lot to see and do here. The landscaping is lovely. Amusements for families. Fountains and sculpture. All we did was enjoy some coffee and cake and stroll around, but that was enough for us.

We went to Tivoli Gardens while staying in Copenhagen, it was lovely to walk around the gardens, a very pretty place especially at night when it was all lit up. Lots of restaurants cafes etc to choose from. If you pay for a day ticket you can get it stamped when you leave so you can go back at night to see the lights, (has to be the same day) it is also an amusement park with lots of rides for all ages. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Copenhagen

We came here in between Christmas and New Year 2024 and wanted to experience the Christmas markets. Tivoli Gardens is very big and was presented well, with Christmas decorations and lights. The gardens were well maintained and plenty of stores, games and eateries. We purchased our tickets online beforehand and paid around £20 per person. We went during the day and felt there wasn’t enough to do there to warrant staying all day so we left, at the entrance/exit there is someone with a stamp so you can return again same day. We returned later in the evening with the lights all lit up and it was beautiful. I would recommend coming here.

We had a fantastic family day out at Tivoli Gardens. Our 6 year old daughter is a speed demon on roller coasters and rides, and we were there from opening at 11am until 9pm - so we definitely got our moneys worth. The park is immaculate and beautifully decorated/landscaped for Easter. Every staff member we interacted with was lovely, and the queues were short despite it being fa Friday in the Easter holidays. The beauty of Tiovoli is how many rides are packed into a relatively small space, so you can hop from one to another really quickly. We ate lunch in the food hall (excellent!) and dinner at the the Italian restaurant, which has awful reviews on here but which we found to be brilliant. All in all, the best day of our trip and a core family memory for sure. Our 6 year old said it was better than Disneyland Paris 😂. Top tip - the gourmet cotton candy popcorn is divine Special shout out to the guys riding the wooden rollercoaster - you are rock stars!

So much fun! Tivoli gardens is a sight to behold! The rides are wonderfully distinctive from any modern theme park, timeless and yet still thrilling and scary enough for our 11 year old daughter. We loved it and could have spent two days there. The ancient wooden rollercoaster was a highlight and it was also lovely to be able to take a boat out on the lake. We cannot recommend it enough!

Tivoli’s summer opening was the perfect date night. From the moment we walked through the gates, everything felt magical—the lights, the music, the smell of popcorn and blooming flowers. We held hands on the rides, shared candyfloss, and watched the fireworks wrapped in each other’s arms. A night we’ll never forget.

It was the best! The rides are great and it's very pretty! It was one of my favorite parts of Copenhagen and I would like to go many more times!

Visiting Tivoli Gardens was one of my most memorable experiences in Denmark. I felt like I stepped into a fairy tale when I entered the park. I loved the blend of classic charm and modern excitement throughout the grounds. The rides were fun, and the atmosphere was both lively and welcoming. I enjoyed quiet moments by the lake and heart-pounding thrills on the roller coaster. I think the park has something special for every kind of traveler, whether you are with family, friends, or on your own. I spent hours wandering the beautifully decorated paths, enjoying festive music and enchanting lights. It truly felt like a magical escape from everyday life. I left Tivoli Gardens feeling inspired and completely joyful.

It’s really fun in Tivoli, there’s lots of food, rides and such. You should really try it! Everyone is so nice and friendly, the food is great, the rides are greater, the history behind them are also good. Here are some recommendations, The Roller Coaster, The Flying Trampolines, The Demon, The Ferris Wheel (Vertigo), The Dragon Boat, The Golden Tower and The Tea Cups. I hope you enjoy it!! (Don’t eat food before going on a ride)

I went to Tivoli during the Halloween week and it was such a fun place to be! There were a lot of Halloween decorations and the lights make the place just seem so magical. My friends and I enjoyed the park very much.

The twinkling lights, charming rides, and lush gardens felt like stepping into a storybook. The atmosphere was magical, and the live music added to the romance. It’s the perfect spot for a date night in Copenhagen. We left with smiles and unforgettable memories!

After dragging our kids through a long day of sightseeing, we wanted to reward them with an evening at Tivoli. They were very excited to take on all of the rides and we planned to try them all. Unfortunately, the park shut down all of their rides an hour before closing because they were putting on some sort of show. We had no idea, nor had we been informed by staff. Luckily the kids got to do most of the rides, but for the price you pay, we felt like we got ripped off. I contacted Tivoli customer service and they told me that because the kids had gone on a certain number of rides, they were not willing to offer any compensation. How the number of rides the kids went on factors into whether they believe you're owed compensation left me bewildered. We thought we were paying to be able to go on rides for a certain amount of time and they cut that short. It was a lot of fun. Just make sure you're aware of the hours before you go.

We spent a fun few hours here - the gardens are beautiful and the rides are great! Not too pricey although food and drinks are on the expensive side.

The thrilling rides got our hearts racing, while the romantic gardens offered perfect spots for quiet moments. We indulged in delicious treats from charming cafés, savoring every bite. Tivoli is a delightful blend of excitement and romance—a must for anyone exploring Copenhagen!

A really good place to visit. However it really is for young people as it basically is fun fair. The gardens are beautiful and there are some great restaurants. The food hall is a great experience for choice of food.

Amazing trip with my grandkids. many exciting Christmas decorations and a lot of fun for the kids. Unfortunately no real snow. however it was not Tivoli's fault but the weather

Tivoli Gardens was fabulous. Staff were all very helpful and welcoming, the rides were varied and the choice of restaurants and drinks venues were dotted all over. The aquarium was a great benefit as the free pass ride allowed. Would thoroughly recommend this place!
