A Taste of Van Gogh Tour

An incredible tour into Vincent Van Gogh’s life and masterpieces

Think you've seen all of Vincent van Gogh? Then step inside the life of the painter himself. A Taste of Van Gogh will take you on a tour past his masterpieces and will show you a glimpse of the places where Vincent's inspiration came from. We will start our journey at Amsterdam Central Station from which we will get on a bus and drive to our first stop the Kröller-Müller Museum. Here you can find one of the world’s largest Van Gogh collections.

After spending some time in the museum we’ll stop at a watermill that has been the subject of a Van Gogh painting. Near here you’ll also get the chance to grab some lunch (not included). Then we’ll follow Vincent's journey to the city of Nuenen. The place where he lived and found inspiration for many of his paintings. Join the A Taste of Van Gogh Tour and watch his masterpieces come to life!

The Kröller-Müller Museum

Our first stop is the Kröller-Müller Museum. The museum is home to the second largest Van Gogh collection in the world. It houses 90 paintings and 180 drawings of Vincent van Gogh. But there are also works from other artists to admire like Claude Monet, Pablo Picasso, and Piet Mondriaan. The Kröller-Müller museum also has a beautiful sculpture garden, with more than 160 sculptures, that you can wander around in.

Nuenen, Van Gogh Village

Our final stop before going back to Amsterdam is the city of Nuenen. Nuenen is the city Van Gogh lived in and found inspiration for a lot of his paintings. You will see the house he lived in and painted many of his paintings. We will also walk past many sights that were the subject of his paintings. We will then visit the Vincentre. This is an exposition in which you’ll learn more about Van Gogh and his journey to becoming a master painter. From Nuenen we’ll travel back to Amsterdam.
