Tours & Tickets & Voedselbank (Foodbank).
In 2009 Tours & Tickets generously sponsored the Voedselbank (Foodbank). The Foodbank aims to prevent waste of food and tries to fight poverty mainly by supplying food to poor people in The Netherlands.
Tours & Tickets was the highest bidder at an internet auction, thus winning a full page advertisement in the biggest dutch newspaper, De Telegraaf. Our bid, over 26,000 euros, has been directly donated to the Foodbank.
Besides this big donation Tours & Tickets promised an extra donation. The advertisement contained a lot of special offers. For each customer that this advertisement generated Tours & Tickets donated another 1 euro per sold ticket!
This resulted in a final contribution of more then 50.000 euros!
